A fully operational multi-vendor marketplace for bookable activities has been developed and launched in the Canary Islands. This platform allows activity operators to create accounts, integrate their bank accounts via Stripe onboarding, and list their offers. Customers can book and pay online seamlessly. Payments are automatically split through the platform, with the operators receiving their dues directly while a commission (currently set at 20%) is retained by the platform. The system also autonomously generates commission invoices.
The platform is equipped with numerous features, including a multi-vendor marketplace allowing self-registration for operators, and Stripe Connect integration for automated payment processes. It boasts 30+ interface languages and supports multi-currency displays. Users have access to an activity catalog featuring categories like water sports, air experiences, and more, alongside maps, reviews, and a booking management system. Currently, there are 40 activities listed by local operators.
While initially conceived for tourism, the platform can accommodate any bookable service offered by multiple providers, such as rentals, classes, and events. However, selling physical products would necessitate further development.
The platform's estimated rebuild cost is approximately €20,000, but it is available as a pre-built and deployable solution for a fraction of that cost. Notably, the platform is technically complete but has not been actively marketed, leading to minimal revenue. This sale includes complete source code, branding assets, and a Facebook page, but excludes customer personal data, a Stripe account, and activity photos. Monthly running costs are approximately $13.
