A recently launched Android application, designed for seamless buying and selling across European markets, is gaining traction following its September debut. Available on Google Play, this marketplace app is fully operational rather than a prototype. Key features include user registration, product listings enhanced with images and categories, and advanced search options. Users can track their favorite and recently viewed listings, engage in buyer/seller messaging, and utilize offer management with accept/refuse capabilities. Additional functionalities include push notifications, the ability to report users and listings, and user blocking features. Users can filter listings by status (active, reserved, sold, expired) and switch between dark and light modes, with multi-language support available. Monetization is facilitated through Google Play in-app purchases, particularly for listing publications.
From a technical standpoint, the app is constructed using Flutter, with Supabase handling backend functions and Firebase for push notifications. As of now, the app is available on Android, and the source code is included in its sale. Operational costs are minimal, and expansion to other platforms presents growth potential for a new owner. Promotion has been limited to personal social media channels, with those accounts excluded from the sale. Despite being in a pre-revenue stage, the monetization framework is in place. The sale package includes the Android source code, branding assets, and custom technology, although no iOS version is currently available. Post-sale support covers handover and configuration, excluding new feature development.
