PR3 Juicing Site with 19,925 Uniques a Month is a wordpress blog that my husband and I started in July 2009. We are both avid juicing fans, so it made sense that we should start a site in this niche with the hope of making some extra cash online. Little did we know how much money it would make at its peak! Pre-penguin this site hit its highest earning month of over $9000.

The site has lost some ranking since the penguin update, but is still brings in great traffic and earnings of about 20000 uniques a month and $848 a month on average. So the site has a solid history of earning since the penguin update. Google analytics is verified by flippa as proof of traffic.

How Traffic Looks at Present
For the past month –- Nov 11th to Dec 11th – the breakdown of key traffic data is this:

  • 68.72% search traffic
  • 11.67% referral traffic
  • 19.61% direct traffic

For the 68.72% of search traffic, the percentages from the top 3 search engines are:

  • Google 39.02%
  • Yahoo 32.76%
  • Bing 27.31%

What is great about this data is that 60% of the search traffic comes from Yahoo and Bing, which are solid rankings for top juicing keywords like “Juicing recipes”, Juicer recipes”, and “Juice recipes, among others.

Please click on the link below, which is a short video I made of the google analytics account for this site, showing the information outlined above, and also the top 100 keywords for this site and the top ten landing pages.

Revenue Details
This site has been making its money via adsense, (a cpc company similar to adsense), and Amazon affiliates.  Watch the videos below that show proof of revenue info for each of these companies.

Video Revenue Proof for Adsense

In September of 2011 we switched ads from adsense to to see how they would work out. Initially they did well, so we kept with them, but RPM has slowly faded over time. So we believe that switching back to adsense ads may generate more revenue. If you have watched the videos above (which we highly recommend you do) , you will also notice that these is still some adsense earnings coming in even though the ads are switched to The reason for this is that only serves up ads for USA, Canadian and UK traffic, from other countries the ads fall back to adsense.

So if you don’t have a account, then no problem, simply use adsense instead.

We are not Smart Marketers
For those who know how to put a site to good use and maximize revenue, this site provides the traffic and visitor loyalty to do so. If you are into list building, then you may fall off your seat to hear that we have never collected any emails or done things like offering free eBooks to capture email addresses. Crazy, but we really are not smart when it comes to marketing, we are really content creators at heart and like to put quality content out there. That is our strength. So for those who know who to start building a list and work it, then – well – enough said! Look at the google analytics video above, and you will see that 19.61% of traffic for the past month is actually direct traffic.

Another option is too add an ecommerce store to the website, and direct traffic there for more juicer sales.

We have never created any social media accounts for this site either! No Facebook account, no twitter account, no pinterest account. However, there is traffic that comes to the site (pinterest being the #1) via social sites 100% naturally.

Running Costs
The running cost for this site almost don’t exist! It costs just $20 a month to run.

  1. $10 a month for hosting
  2. $10 a month for Cincopa account

Cincopa is a media serving company that provides the slides on this page -

Why are we Selling?
If the site is still earning good revenue, and there is potential to earn more, then why are we selling? That of course is a good question.

I am a US citizen and my husband Darren is a UK citizen, so we have a need for a lump-sum of cash for immigration lawyer fees and flight tickets for Darren to come to the US, it isn’t a cheap process! That is basically why we have decided to sell. Otherwise we would hold on to the site.

Nervous about Changing Hosts (1 Year Free Hosting)

We can transfer the domain name to you upon winning the site. However, some people prefer not to change domain name and hosts too closely together. If so, we can continue to host the site on our Hostgator account for the next year FOR FREE.

Hi Veronica, I went online and inadvertantly typed "juicerecipes" - left out the second "r" and found myself at a different site (obviously). Do you know whether that is a common/frequent scenario, and if so, have you any idea how many other people end up going to someone else's site instead of this one?

Do you have any other websites related to this one?

can you please explain why the content on this site is copied?

    Example: 46% copied -

    30% copied from -

This is against Adsense TOS and would lead to a suspension of account.

Michael, - I am sure that you are not the only one who types in that misspell, I have done it myself a few times. Not really much one can do about that, but this site still earns well.

    globetrekker -

The content on our site is not copied, one can clearly see that in both those examples you give, the content has been copied from us. The one example is a cheap looking site that could not even take the time to format the copied content.
For the forum, the person has copied and pasted the content, and in this case has been good enough to provide a link back to the content on our site, the link back shows that we are the original content.
The content on our site is very high quality, so people take it. Most link back, which is great, that is just free natural backlinks.

    Hi Wildhoney,
The biggest chunk of money is coming from, a CPC company similar to adsense. In the listing above you will see a link "Video Revenue Proof for". Watch that video to see the earnings.

    ***************IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR SERIOUS BIDDERS**************************
Here is some important info based on some common questions that are being asked.

A number of people have sent private messages because they are concerned about answering the comments that come to the site. So, my husband and I have decided that we will answer all comments on the site for 1 year to the winning bidder if you want us to.
This is a major bonus. After that time we can re-assess.

We can even write a batch of articles for you that can be drip fed over time. Our rate for this would be $0.040 a word. That is $20 for a 500 word article.
    3) YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN AMAZON AND ADSENSE ACCOUNTS. account is not necessary because the ads can all be changed to adsense, they are all the same size, and the ads were all adsense originally. In fact it might even be the better choice to go with adsense now. Why? Because when we originally put on the site we were getting an RPM of $17; that has now dropped with the last 30 days bringing in an average RPM of $9.33. So adsense may do better now.

The amazon affiliate links are scattered throughout the website, and will be quite time consuming to change to a new amazon ID. If you give us your affiliate ID, we will change them all for you.
We can also change out all the ads too, to adsense or a combo of and adsense if you are going that route.

This is not going to be a hit and run! We have been running this site for over 3 years, and therefore have an intimate understanding of it. We will be here for you for any questions you have after winning the site, whether those question are about plugins and other technical back-end questions, or about other aspects of the site. There is no time limit to this, we will answer your queries as they come up for you.
