I saw your FOX news interview. Nicely done.
FYI: Just a suggestion. needs a very clear disclaimer, preferably up at the top, stating in general terms that " is not owned by the official Romney Campaign" along with a link to the official site ( This is an absolute legal requirement unless you want to risk losing the domain to the Romney Campaign who (for $5K in atty fees) can argue that the domain name is "confusingly similar" Mitt Romney's campaign site. It doesn't matter if you registered the domain name in 2010.
SO... you need the word "Unofficial" somewhere visibly prominent on your site ASAP, i.e. "Unofficial Romney/Ryan site. Not affiliated with the Romney/Ryan campaign or (and link to
Speaking as someone who has created A LOT of political/campaign sites, I've see this happen more than once (domains that were lost due to being "confusingly similar" to the candidate's name/campaign). The "confusingly similar" issue is the point that an attorney will argue to get you to either sell the domain name to the campaign for a pittance ($1K or less) or simply take it from you by legally without compensation -- or tie it up legally so you can't sell it. This has happened to me with candidates/domains far less prominent/valuable than yours. A clear legal disclaimer/notice will give you some protection.... particularly if anyone else (like Cavuto/Fox News) claims you are "holding the Romney campaign hostage". An irresponsible statement in my opinion; it's your property.... so protect it.
Good luck on your auction -- and get that disclaimer/notice up on your domain/site ASAP to protect your investment (and the winner/bidders).
    Best regards,
