What is this site about?
This site is for bloggers and those interested in blogging as an exciting and effective way of communicating. Blogsolid is a growing collection of tips, advice and ideas for better blogging.
Categories
To make good ideas accessible to everyone, each article or “entry” falls in one of three categories:
- Solid Basics for beginners and those interested in starting a blog
- Solid Growth for those who already blog and wish to improve their blogging skills
- Solid Power for experienced bloggers with advanced skills
A word about the design
The inspiration came from nature:
- Rock represents the strong foundation for Solid Basics
- The organic nature of wood represents Solid Growth
- Moving water represents solid power
The header features images corresponding with each of the 3 categories. A random image representing the current category is displayed when the page loads.
The logo represents the 3-part cycle of blogging:
- Message (what you blog about)
- The vehicle (your blog)
- The recipient (people who read your blog)

@consult.richard - Thank you, I am glad you like it. I am a designer and Blogsolid has served as an important part of my portfolio, generating design inquiries. Therefore I have not tried to monetize. Blogsolid.com is a great domain name and I believe the site has huge potential to be developed further. Unfortunately, recently I have not found time to devote the necessary attention to running it. I think there is a "solid" foundation in place and that's why I am looking at selling it to someone who can build forth upon it.
