Sorry, but valuations from that site are basically worthless.

How much are you paying per month in total expenses for the site? From the post on the site explaining why you have changed to a subscription model, it sounds like the site is not profitable. Also, how many people signed up for subscriptions in the past couple weeks, and how has it affected the visitors and pageviews for the site?

Total expenses are $100 per month for hosting, but the new site owner may choose to stay hosted with us free of charge. Other than that, there are no expenses per month that need to be paid.

In the past two weeks, we have received a total of 23 subscription payments. The site is indeed profitable currently, and still maintains solid traffic ratings, even after moving to a paid subscription model.

6000 uniques and 12000 PV can easily be handled by a reseller or a DH shared hosting if that is the only expense.
Also the eCPM from adsense for Macware niche is quite high 5-6 and above which will bring u a good revenue stream.
    1) Why haven't u put up adsense? Is the site banned by adsense? DOn't tell me you have never tried or something.
    2) What is the primary traffic source?
    3) Where do you get the topics or blog posts including games and freeware info. I mean, do u have a list of source where u get this consistently so that new owner can update?

Can u post traffic detail screenshots?

Please show proof of revenue and traffic and list the revenue sources in detail. Why did you make it sound like the site is nonviable when changing to a subscription model if you are really making $1600 per month?

I am interested in seeing the traffic sources, not really concerned about the numbers...please post so this auction has some transparency. Thanks.

Assuming other number are ok (I do see only PR3 though) on what basis do you expect to get 20 years of earnings for this site? Its pretty unconventional. Three years would sound OK.

FYI: Subscription areas of the site can easily be bypassed. Even the RSS feed provides links to the unprotected content.

To sitespotter, RE: Question 3: Looking at the RSS feed, the previous content included individual posts of Firefox several times recently, whole posts for Adobe Flash and Adobe Air (separately), Vuze, Limewire, NeoOffice, Google Sketchup, etc.

Can you provide access to analytics?
