Traffic come from different resources , mainly direct hits or referral sites like directory resources sites.
currently i don't promote the directory as it promote itself

can you describe the process of approving links? How much time does it take to run it? How much time do you think you'd have to put in to get it to a PR5?

@think_tom: You can approve links one by one or by bulk, it is up to your to monitor the quality of the submitted sites. Building relevant and solid backlinks is the key to get PR5, i guess in couple of months building your links you can get PR5. I have tried it several time and invested few bucks and get my PR5.
