I believe (as well as a few others I've talked to) that the blog is worth $5,000+ I would like to open the bidding up at $1,500 and the BIN will be $6,000 It is definitely a great website and well worth the investment.
We can also work out a deal for me to continue to write articles on the site if you'd like. That is totally up to the buyer though.

How long does it take to maintain currently?
Who writes your articles?
How often do you post new ones?
Why are you selling?

Maintaining the site doesn't take much work at all. I go in once every few days and approve any comments which takes 5 minutes or so.
I currently write all of the articles. If you were to buy, we can work out a deal for articles as well so you wouldn't have to worry about that for a couple months.
I posted once in November and zero in December. The traffic stayed the same throughout the entire time. Most of the traffic comes from google and social media sites, so no work there :)
I am selling because I have two other websites that are beginning to take off and I want to focus more time on them.

How much would you charge to write articles?

If the BIN is reached, I would write 2 articles per week for two months (16 total). When you place them online would be totally up to you.

Not trying to ruin your auction here...but how do you figure your site is worth $6,000? Generally, sites sell for 10-14 times monthly profit....what quick and easy changes could the buyer implement that would allow it to generate $600 a month?

Hi Seoguy101,
WIth the custom design, the custom articles, the quality of traffic and RSS subscribers and the revenue all bundled together, the site is worth $6,000 (or more). I understand that most people build on the idea of ~12 months revenue as the value of the site. I put other elements into it besides just the revenue. The revenue could easily be built up to a higher level if you monetize the site more. I have never pushed ads through the site as a main focus.

Hi Mike,
I was wondering what your top search terms are and are your banner ad spots filled with affiliate stuff or paid advertising.
Thanks for your time.

Hi Heckman,
My top 5 search terms are as follows:
Guerrilla Marketing Ideas
Guerrilla Marketing Examples
Guerrilla Marketing Tactics
Bootstrapping
Marketing TacticsI get traffic from 828 various search terms overall.
Also, the banner ads are all paid advertisements. I am only charging $10.00 per month now but you could easily bump the prices up to $25.00 per month
