Domain For Sale – Overview.

Domain for sale is http://www.betsforfree.co.uk – Site created in 2005 though listed in start-up category as no or little real revenue currently generated due to non-promotion. There is much potential however.

No active promotion for a couple or three years though does still get traffic – 4065 uniques in 2008. See stats screenshot to the right.

There is some residual traffic from active link exchanges mainly and the odd search engine referral.

PR is 1. There are 107 inbound links according to dnscoop.com

The front page is designed to capture opt-ins who initially receive two free ebooks for their trouble. The ebooks are two of my own – I am author and copyright owner.

Included in this auction are brandable versions of the two ebooks which also have giveaway rights. The winning bidder can insert their own ClickBank links in to the ebooks before giving them away. Full rebranding software and instructions are provided.

After the initial ebooks, the subscriber is sent a short series of emails containing a free bet offer from a British bookmaker. The winning bidder should set up his or her own free bet offers using their own affiliate links.

The site is a basic design. There is the front page, a links page and a contact page. Opt-ins are directed to a confirmation page and then a download page.

All site files are included in this auction and will be supplied to the winning bidder.

Monetizaton Potential

Bookmakers pay very good commissions for new accounts. The winning bidder has multiple monetization opportunity. For example:

·         The building of an opt-in mailing list to promote free bets and related products and services to

·         Being able to brand the two free ebooks and give them away to entice opt-ins. As the ebooks also have giveaway rights the subscriber can use them to giveaway to their friends, from their own web site etc. Each reader is a potential money earner for the winning bidder of this auction as the ebooks will have their ClickBank links within.

·         Advertising of bookmaker offers/banners etc on the web site

·         Adsense-like alternatives such as Xpublisher.com

Opt-in List

There are currently around 470 subscribers on the list. Under my privacy policy I cannot include the names/email addresses and pass them to the winning bidder. However, in consultation with the winning bidder I will inform the current subscribers that the site has been sold and invite them to opt-in with whoever buys this site.

You will need an autoresponder account. Site files transferred with include provision for the buyer’s autoresponder code to be inserted on the front page.

Site Maintenance

Some initial set-up to insert your own autoresponder code and set up your email series.

After that it’s as hands-free as you want it to be.

Hosting and Transfer

Buyer to provide own hosting. I can recommend a hosting company I have been with for over 10 years if required.

Buyer will also need to open a free account with 123-reg.co.uk so I can push the domain to them.
