Description

This is a very easy to operate business.

THIS BUSINESS IS PRICED TO SELL. I HAVE PRICED THE BIN AT JUST 4 MONTHS NET PROFIT. MOST BUSINESSES SELL FOR 10-12x PROFIT, WHICH WOULD PLACE THE VALUE AT $25k+!

What the website is all about

EarnersDigest.com offers informational ebooks and other products through the website. Revenue is earned from the sale of these products,  the EarnersDigest Home Study Course ebook being the main product. You can see the sales page here.

After a visitor purchases the EarnersDigest program, they also have the opportunity to join the newsletter.

As a newsletter subscriber, they receive updates from EarnersDigest, with links to purchase additional products.  This provides a recurring income.

I've made up to $900 profit for each newsletter I send my members!

Assets:

  • EarnersDigest.com domain name and rights to all content
  • all html files for full site operation
  • approx 1600 opt in subscribers through aweber (value of subscribers, over $1.00 per month!). THOSE IN MARKETING KNOW THE VALUE OF THESE ARE HUGE!
  • customer list of approx 5000 email addresses of those who have purchased a product, this establishes a business relationship, and you can email them. Again, a HUGE value!
  • manual that details daily/weekly/monthly operation of business
  • additional site 4kMonthly.com (included free of charge), along with the product and full rights to it.
  • Proven Credit Repair Product, and the rights to sell it at whatever price you wish

Skill level needed to operate business:

You should be familiar with a computer, how to use it, and how to use the internet. As well as write complete sentences & paragraphs in English. If you can do this, you should be fine operating this business.

If you consider yourself a "newbie", that's okay too, I will provide everything you need to operate this business.

Time needed to operate the business:

  • 2-3hrs per day, 4-5 days a week...some days are less work. But if you do not have in the neighborhood of 2-3hrs per day to operate a business, this isn't for you.

This is a real, legit business. Yes, it makes very good money, and it doesn't take a lot of time to operate. But, it's not just pushing a magic button and watching the money roll in.

I detail step-by-step, what you need to do each day in the manual, to operate the business.

This business is scalable. That is, if you were to put 6-8hrs per day into the business, instead of 2-3, the opportunity to earn $7k+ per month is there.

I will also stay on as a "consultant" for the new owner to make sure everything is running smoothly, for at least 45 days.

Why am I selling: I'm now working on OFFLINE "brick and mortar" projects with my brother...so no time for this any longer.

Please note, very important: Escrow.com will be used to transfer the domains only. The fees will be split 50/50. The fees should be around $200 total, so that's $100 each for the buyer and seller.

Once the domain has been transferred, and the escrow transaction complete, I will give the html files, opt in subscribers, and manual to the new owner. I cannot risk giving such valuable information away, at the risk of someone stealing it...which is why the transaction must be complete before I hand over this information.

For the opt in subscribers transfer, the new owner just needs to open an account at aweber.com, and I will transfer everything over to them.

I am happy to answer any questions. HOWEVER, please only ask questions if you are a SERIOUS BIDDER.

I am not going to waste my time answering questions from those who have no intention of making a serious offer.

Please note: I've been working online full time since 2000, and have made money several different ways online. Click here for an interview I did a few years back.

Simply put, I know exactly what works, and the new owner will receive this information!

As we approach the end of the year, keep in mind the HUGE TAX SAVINGS you can take advantage of my purchasing this business!

Revenue Details

Net profit of $2,500+ Per Month.

It is generated by my own advertising efforts, the new owner will receive all details.

Traffic Details

All traffic info will be given to the new owner.

I notice you have a number of sites in this content area. Is the opt-in email list and 5K subscribers from http://www.EarnersDigest.com/ only or the others as well. How much of the content and or products on this site are original? Thanks

chshaver: they have all subscribed to the earnersdigest newsletter...nothing else.

Everything is 100% original, with the exception of the credit repair program, which is something I purchased the rights to, and edited myself.
It is being provided to the new owner as part of the sale of the business.

jlarson: Most of these questions are answered in the original post...but I'll post them here for you.

I spend about $400/month in advertising. The net profit is approx $2,500 per month.
2-3hrs per day is needed to operate the site as it is now. And that's 4-5 days per week, I don't do anything on the weekends.

You don't need to know a great deal because I will be giving the new owner all needed info. If you know how to use a computer and the internet fairly well, you'll be just fine.

To answer some questions I've been receiving via PM.

Are you interested in a trade or payment plan?
No, I am not looking to trade this site for another, and I cannot accept any payment plans.

Does the business show signs of slowing down?
Nope, not at all. Just look at the most recent Oct-Nov screen shots I've posted.
The business is very strong, with no signs of slowing down.

    Hi there

Could you provide a little more detail on daily activities needed for this site? Is this creating newsletter content, customer support, or other?
Also, could you explain why the revenue went from $7-9k per month early in the year to its current level?
The only things you are selling are a $27 course and a $19 credit repair program?
Finally, how about some traffic statistics.

carbod: Yes, the daily activities are the newsletter creation, answering emails, placing advertising, etc...
The revenue has dropped, but it's important to note, the NET PROFIT has not dropped much (and in fact ZERO over the last two months as far as a drop goes). This is because I have refined my advertising over the months in operation. I know what works and stick to it. Also, keep in mind that almost ALL info products drop over the summer months as people are not at their computers as much.

Traffic: I've never even looked at the stats myself...I focus on newsletter subscribers, sales, and profit...that's all I care about.

The $27 course is the main product, but it is definitely not the only product. When someone purchases the $27 course, they also have the opportunity to subscribe to the newsletter.
As a newsletter member they receive various other offers, and this is where a lot of $$$ is made.

I've had several PMs regarding the newsletter. Questions such as "I'm not a very good writer, will I have trouble with the newsletter?".

If you can write at a high school level you will be fine. I have outlined what to do in the manual I've created for the new owner.
The newsletter is pretty simple. And if you don't want to do it, you can always outsource it at a low cost, around $20 week would take care of it.

If you are seriously interested in this business, and would like to see a sample newsletter, just send me a PM.

jlarson18: well, the site takes about 2-3hrs per day to operate. Everything is laid out in the manual for the new owner. The site could of course grow larger if someone put more time into it, I just don't have the time myself.

ALL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE: I've received some PMs asking if they can have the funds in one week, or two weeks, etc...
No, that is not acceptable. You must have the funds available NOW, and be ready to proceed with the site sale and transfer once the auction ends.

IF you do not have the funds currently available, DO NOT BID.

    Thank you.

Please note: There have been bids during the last 4hrs of the auction...when that happens, sitepoint automatically adds 4hrs to the auction end time.
