Description
If you don't know already, PageHole was the first and, by far, most successful links page on the Internet to date. It has not been promoted in almost a year, as I have been focusing my attention elsewhere. The site has come to a practical standstill, and needs someone to give it some attention and promotion.
The Domain
The domain is very brandable and is known by many. The domain perfectly describes the site and is relatively short. Registered at GoDaddy - free push to the winner of the auction.
The Design
The design is purposefully simple, clean and elegant. Anthony Bullock was hired to create the design for PageHole, so the design is completely unique to the site. The buyer will receive full rights. Please note that I no longer have the PSD as the were lost on my old computer back in 2005. Other artwork includes this 468x60 advertising banner that I also had custom made.
The Backend - BIG Description
I had this script custom wrote, it has been sold a few times by myself, but the script is no longer available to buy. Here is what the script consists of;
Front End – Link Display
- Links shown in order – newest links at the top.
- Featured Links shown above all other links.
- All links open in a new window. I hate it when external links take a visitor away from the site.
Front End – Featured Link Specifics
Links last for one month – buyer is able to start a PayPal subscription to secure their spot.
Front End – Member Bar
- If guest display ‘Welcome, please register or login.’
- If a member display ‘Welcome MemberName, [UserCP] [Logout]’
Front End – Purchase Page
- Makes use of PayPal integration to provide an easy checkout.
User Control Panel
- Account options – change password/email.
- Details of any standard links
- Details of any featured links: domain, active (yes/no), Start Date, Due Date, Link to Pay for Next Month, Link to start a subscription for the featured link.
Admin Panel - Links
- Ability to add a link for free
- View/edit/remove paid for links
- View/edit/accept/remove links pending payment
- View/edit/remove featured links
Admin Panel – Users
- Modify a user (password, email address)
- Remove a user
Pricing
- Edit prices for the links and attributes.
- Featured link = $5/month on top of price of link
Tools
- Email all users
- Email all users who own a featured link
Cronjob runs daily to:
- Delete all users with no links assigned to them (EXCLUDES ADMINS)
- Delete all 'unpaid' for links over 7 days old.
- Email reminders for renewals required for featured links
Revenue Details
- In 2005 the site was making $300/month from link sales via PayPal.
- However there is now only the odd sale here and there, so assume no current revenue.

@virtualghost - It was made just for a standard web browser, I have no idea what the site looks like on a mobile. All the links you see are paid for lifetime except the featured links.

Is any hosting included in buy price and must all present links remain on site after purchased.

@virtualghost If bought at BIN I will happily host the site for life via my web hosting company - http://www.hostedfx.com
The links bought were bought as lifetime links so morally they should stay on the site, but as the new owner it would be entirely up to you.
