Misleaded.com is all about scams. Basically an informative advocacy site for end consumers. Concept: 4 main categories: Advice, Online Scams, Offline Scams, and a section for people to "blow the whistle" on scams they have fallen pray to.
There are many different ways you could go with this site.
I even thought of a way you could make an anonymous "Enter how you were misled Here" and then people could also blow the whistle anonymously on scams. This seems to be the craze now, a dynamically driven site which builds its own highly targeted content.
Site is 3 months old and gets 14,000 Hits since month 1. Roughly 450 - 550 uniques a month.
Ways to Monetize:
a) Adsense - Built into the theme (Custom Theme was $70)
b) Affiliate Links - Could build in affiliate links to products of similar interest
c) Sell Ad spots or links (Theme could easily be adjusted to add some ad spaces at the top of the site, as well as links within.
Reason I'm selling:
Raising funds for another project.
