There aren't many quality sites for sale - but this is surely one of the good ones. :)
Good luck!!!
Congratulations to the winner!

I AM ACCEPTING OFFERS, BUT NOTHING LOWER THAN THE MINIMUM. PLEASE SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE IF YOU'RE INTERESTED. BELOW ARE A FEW BLOGS THAT HAVE BEEN SOLD A WHILE AGO. THE BLOGGING BUSINESS IS AT A HIGH POINT RIGHT NOW.
My name is Mike Huang and I'm the current owner of this blog. Bloggin-Ads.com is a highly reputable blog and it jumped into the blogosphere with a bang when it first started in November. The domain however was registered in September, but I spent about a month of time to learn WordPress and learn everything I need to market my blog out.
Bloggin-Ads is very unique in its topic because my initial goal of the blog was to review as many blogs as I can in the blogosphere. The thing that separated my blog from other blogs that provide reviews is that Bloggin-Ads does it for free. The traffic started flooding in as I signed up for an account on Entrecard and used it to market my blog and free review services.
The blog will continue to conduct free blog reviews unless you change it. I have stopped the reviews for a little over a month now after I switched my niche topic to "blogging". Despite the stop of reviews, I have been planning to open up a section on the blog purely for reviews.
Due to recent financial hardships that my wife, Michelle, and I have been having, we have to see the blog go to better hands. We're hoping that the sale would go as high as possible, so a new blog or site could cover in its footsteps.
Plugins:
There are 11 plugins being used at the moment and the license for the OIO Publisher advertising plugin ($37) would be passed onto you.
Articles:
At the time of this listing, my WordPress dashboard is showing 188 posts, 7 pages, 29 drafts, 15 categories, and 1949 tags. I'm sure I only have about 170 posts since I did some posts purely for updates on what's happening with Bloggin-Ads. Everything has been written by me or guest posters. Every single one of the posts/articles are unique and some are very very long.
Theme:
The custom blog theme was designed by Claire from SharpWitDesigns.com and is only to be used by the blog. The price of this theme was $700 and future modifications could be asked politely to Claire. Upon purchasing, I could send you the original version of the theme (without some slight modifications), which would not have the header picture.
Traffic:
At the current rate, Bloggin-Ads has been growing every single month since the start of the blog. I also had a peak of around 50,000 Alexa until the new ranks dropped me to 180,000. Today, I'm back up to around 80,000 :)
Here are pictures of my Awstats (most accurate) and my Google Analytics statistics:

Hosting:
The sale of this blog would also include a dedicated hosting server valued at around $200-300/month. I'm currently actually moving the whole server over to a new hosting company, but those details would be given to the buyer. With the hosting, you would pretty much never have to worry about the blog going down or any of your other sites having problems. I will be conducting a review of the hosting company as a part of the deal with them, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Requirement for new owner:
The current about page has a section for the permanent authors and the buyer must keep that section intact if the author is still going to continue submitting articles. It is not needed, but I would also appreciate it if you could leave a small excerpt about me in the about page. This isn't needed, but I'm hoping for it. This was my first ever online website and I just want it to be a memory :)
You're going to get the dedicated server for Bloggin-Ads and the blog is the main site on the server, but I would also be using the server at the same time. Of course I hope you understand, but I do want to open up a few new sites and just need a place to stay :). None of the sites would take much resources, but the hosting company would add in more resources if it is needed at no cost.
The footer links for "Thanks To" and "Inspiration" could be removed except 1 footer link would be to the hosting company.
The advertising spots on the blog is the most important thing. I have not completed the advertising duration with some of the sponsors and would need the buyer to continue everything until it ends.
I understand there are a lot of deals that haven't expired yet and that I received the payments for everything, but I hope you would not hold me for it. My blog does not focus on making money and that's why I only sell advertising spots. I focus more on the content and the blog reviews.
I also hope that I could still be a part of Bloggin-Ads by allowing me to guest post once in a while or market my new sites on the blog.
Buy It Now / Best Offer:
I do accept offers at any value because I would like to see what type of amounts I am able to get. The buy it now is at a very reasonable amount judging by the huge potential this blog has to grow even more.
The person that buys it now or comes close with the best offer would also receive my accounts to all of the social networks I'm in. I have quite a high amount of friends and followers on the networks, so it could be a huge asset to you.
There is basically no cost for you to run this blog except the cost of buying the blog itself :P All the expenses are covered with deals I have previously made with hosting companies.
This blog does not focus on making money, but it does make some spare change to help with your own financial amounts. At the current rate of the advertising opportunities on the blog, the minumumm amount of money that could be made is $400/month. This amount would grow as the blog grows because you would be able to charge a lot more for the advertising spots.
I also believe there's a huge potential in implementing other types of money making methods into the blog, but I have not focused on it. I previously did sponsored reviews for Smorty and SponsoredReviews and I made about $100-150 total within about 1-2 months. If you wish to do sponsored reviews, I could definitely give you the accounts to both the sites. The money potential there could be a $100+ per month depending on how many reviews you do.

Traffic comes from all over the blogosphere and the search engines. This blog has been receiving more and more traffic from search engines each and every day.
There was a lot of marketing in the beginning, but marketing isn't really needed to keep the current traffic flow.

Thanks for that Tomer :) I'm not even sure if I know you or not, but thank you for the comment. I sure do hope this listing would attract a lot of different buyers.

This is Collin LaHay from MixedMarktArts.com, just wanted to leave a comment vouching for Mike. I read Mike's blog and vouch for him, his work speaks for itself.
Good luck with the sale Mike.
Hey Collin, I didn't know you would snoop around here. In fact, I didn't know any of the bloggers I know actually snoop around the MarketPlace :P Maybe I should have hidden this sale since I don't want others to know yet.
Anyways, thank you for the comment as well. It's great to have friends like you guys :)

Mike - whats the minimum bid? You say you'll accept 'nothing below the minimum' which is $1...
I'm sorry, I changed the starting bid to $1 earlier today and forgot to change the listing. I'm unable to change it now, so hopefully everyone would read here. There's a reserve price, but I'll still watch all the bids and I'll probably choose the highest bid if no one meets the reserve.
Hope that answers your question.

I see that much of the traffic to the blog according to Analyics is via referrals. Where are getting the traffic from because search engine traffic is pretty low. It would be good if you can show a screenshot of the referrals from Analytics.
It's actually split throughout many different referral sites and Entrecard used to be one of my biggest referrals until it was taken off my blog about 1-2 months ago. I used to depend on Entrecard for traffic, but my traffic dropped in half when I removed their widget. Now I am receiving more traffic than when I had the widget, so everything stabilized and grew.
I have attached a screenshot of the referrals. Anyways, I'm not too sure which stats are more accurate. I was told the Awstats are the most accurate because it's on the CPANEL of the blog, but others have said otherwise. I believe that the Awstats are most accurate because I compare it to the Alexa daily reach and it spikes or drops depending on the Awstats rather than the stats elsewhere.
-Mike
I have an update that my Alexa rank just lowered to 77,731 (lower = good). I've been receiving a daily rank of about 50-65,000, so I have a huge feeling it would lower again.
-Mike
Blog is being moved to a new dedicated server, so it may be funky for a bit. Sorry for the inconvenience.
-Mike
sad to see you selling man; on a side note the dailyblogtips sale was a April fools joke; but I have to say this in my opinion is a worthwhile investment.
Thank you for your concern, I do hope to come back with a new blog in the near future. I absolutely didn't know the DBT sale was a joke, but I'm sure they would sell for that much anyways :)
-Mike
I want this domain. This is an established site and very popular, I never thought to see it here.
I forgot to mention to you guys that this blog sale does require a lot for the new buyer, since the advertisers still have to continue their time. I never really wanted to make money from my blog and it was never meant to monetize, but I added advertising spots to pay off some bills. It earned me about $300-400/month (some advertisers paid less), but required me to do little to no work at all. All the money came in by just e-mailing a few bloggers or having advertisers contact me.
I believe this is what makes the blog good for you too, since the money would just roll in without any work :)
-Mike
One more thing. This blog sale is not meant to be purchased by someone that wishes to make a lot of money really quick. This blog is mainly to be used as a blog because of the content and the fame it has gained through the blogosphere. The money making is just a bit extra for you.
-Mike
For the ad spots, do you seek for advertisers or do they come to you?
I do both. If I don't have anyone waiting in line, I usually send a message out on my Twitter, MyBlogLog, or BlogCatalog account. I've never really mentioned advertising spots on my blog, so I'm not sure if that would bring in even more advertisers :)
-Mike
This site comes with a free dedicated server for sure, right?
Yes, for sure :)
If you guys are seeing downtime on Bloggin-Ads, it is because of the new dedicated server move. I'm making sure all the files are intact before passing the blog over.
Reserve price and buy it now price has been lowered. I'm going to sell the blog no matter what offer/bid I receive. I simply need the money very much.
Bloggernoob,
I have mentioned it before and will mention it again. My blog is NOT a MMO blog. That is why the only earnings have been from advertising spots only. However, the new owner could do what he/she wishes to do. I also deleted your comment (sorry) because of what Paul is accusing me of. Until we get this straightened out, he shouldn't be leaving these comments and should be reading the reply I left for him on my blog post, where he last left a comment, or here.
i can understand why you would delete those comments. it could really hurt the sale of the blog. but in my opinion, it would be better to leave it up and address that statement with a statement of your own. when you delete it. fishy alarm goes off. If paul was heckling you, then i understand, but you also deleted my question too. I am really interested in the sale of this blog, and am even considering buying it. But not really comfortable to pay thousands when things are not so transparent. especially issues with prizes and readers. Just my two cents.
I do understand and I do regret deleting your comment too, but I can't restore it. I only deleted it because you mentioned the stuff about Paul's comment. It's bad enough that he's leaving these sort of comments and throwing accusations at me, so I hope you do not find it offensive that I took off your comment.
I have nothing to hide from my blog as I have provided all the screenshots possible. A lot of sellers for websites/blogs usually provide higher statistics than what they really have, but I provide the true stats with nothing to hide. I surely do hope people think about this.
-Mike
I was one of the top members of Entrecard, so that is why the chart shows Entrecard as one of my talk referral traffic. I haven't received traffic from them for months and I believe it was since May. Any person should know that Social Media sites usually give the highest traffic and that's why StumbleUpon is up there too. When I got banned from Entrecard, I stopped marketing my posts as much, but my search engine traffic went up including direct traffic.
Why are you banned from Entrecard?
I was banned because I put widgets on a page where I could drop easily. I guess Entrecard didn't like that, so I was banned. It's either quite understandable or not. Users usually just go to a blog to drop a card and leave and that's why there is a high bounce rate. The widgets on a page just helps because it would not load the website, which would not contribute to the high bounce rate. Entrecard still doesn't see this and they're continuing to fall.
I was analyzing the blog (and the sale), and I have noticed that since you put up this auction, the posting frequency and the comments from readers decreased. It is then possible that your readers would remove/have removed their subscription because of the inactivity. If I buy this blog, could I be assured that the blog still has active readers? I am seeing less than 10 comments on your recent posts, except the post about your last contest.
Another question... Can you guarantee that all or most of the 125x125 ad spots will be sold even after the blog has changed ownership?
Yes, I do apologize with the lack of activity on the blog. I didn't mean for it to happen, but because of the sale, I had to work on a new site (which I had previously). However, I still have the dedicated readers. The new owner would just have to post a least once a day for a bit and the traffic should all come back. I used to post only 2-3 times a week, but changed it to once every single day. Small posts, but more frequent tends to bring in a lot of traffic. I could also help you do marketing for a while if you're the new owner.
I can't really guarantee the 125x125 spots, but it usually doesn't take much work to get the spots sold. If you start to provide the same or better content as I have, people should come to you for advertising. If not, it's quite easy to obtain them. All you have to do is mention it on social networks and that's how I usually get all the spots filled.
Buy it now has been lowered to the lowest of $5k, but I have 3 potential buyers with buy it now prices. The auction is coming to an end and I'm not going to back out of it since I need the money. It was a great auction! :)
Interesting. The blog's PR increased from 4 to 5. :) Good luck with the sale Mike; 11 hours to go! Unfortunately I am going to back out as I realized I have some other things (including other sties) to prioritize.
WOW! I'm surprised, but at the same time pissed that Google updated the pagerank :P Last minute update isn't helping me at all since the sale is coming to an end :(
Since the bids are still low right now I'm just going to bid under the buy it now cost. If anyone overbids me I still want my bid to be up as a second chance offer. I am very interested in this sale and it is very sad to see you go. I saw your post over at digitalpoint and johncow and decided to try to bid on your blog here. Good luck to you!
I am also surprised that this is now a PR5. A least the value and the links are worth more now. My bid is in
Whoever wins this is getting a steal compared to what similar sites went for.
Yea, it really is a deal. I know that my listing shows a lot of regulations for the advertising spots, but they're about to end soon. Buying a blog isn't really for the money, but more for the popularity of the blog :P I sure hope someone takes the Buy it now.
Ummm, since the auction is cutting so close to the end and final bids (close to buy it now), if any of you are interested, you could contact me via AIM (blogginads), MSN (mikey626 [at[ gmail dot com), or e-mail (mike\at\bloggin-ads.com)
who the hell keeps outbidding me at the last minute!
Question: Would you be able to cancel the all the ads already running. I don't see why me or another potential buyers should carry over the existing ad commitments. Can you give a refund for the remaining ad time? I think I could get better prices than you are getting currently , and now it is PR5 the price should go up anyway.
^^^ some of the ad commitments are up to 12 months long leaving little room for site design change.
I did think about this, but it would be too much trouble. I know I could probably end up getting A LOT more for the blog if I just had no regulations with the advertising spots, but it's too late for that now. Thanks for mentioning it though.
I think the site has been hacked. It goes to a games site now.
No it wasn't hacked, so don't worry. It was being redirected for about an hour, but it should be fine now.
thats strange, it was redirecting to http://www.clearlygaming.com/ but now it seems ok. It might pay to do a domain name search to see who was redirecting your site.
Oh don't worry. Thanks for watching over my blog though :) It was me that was redirecting the site. I wanted to see if I would receive some traffic over at the other site. It was just a test for an hour.
If you were logged in you could post a question.
