PR3 Custom Coded Video and Celebrity Site 1,000 Uniques Daily

I have decided to sell my video and celebrity website to someone who can see its potential. I am in college and just do not have time to keep up with the site anymore.

About the site:

It started out as a simple video site and i decided i no longer wanted to use one of the many youtube clone scripts like everyone else so i went ahead and started contracting people out to custom build a video site. After about 6 months of development the base of the site was done.

I hired a cartoonist to draw a mascot for the site nick named "Video Boy" which you can see on the front page and elsewhere. WE also had it put onto some tshirts and keychains gave them out to random people.

I also had a custom logo created in multiple colors with a few variations that better fit the site.

There is also a celebrity section of the site that my girlfriend keeps up with almost on a daily basis. This can easily be modded to feed from some source but i've always liked original content. The celebrity section is an integrated wordpress system.

Statistics:

The site gets between 18,000 and 25,000 visitors every month with about 2.5 Million hits. This is all organic traffic coming from forums, social sites and blogs. The site just acquired a page rank 3 from google. Stats for 2008 are posted.

Hardware:

Currently running on CentOS, server cost it $75/mo and is custom setup to run this site. Server can be transfered with site purchase. The server has two 250GB hard drives currently using about 28% of the main partition and the second drive is for backups.

The site:

- Partly coded in Ajax, Javascript, PHP, SQL, using the Smarty Template system as a back end. Lots of CSS for SEO.

Main Page:

- Movie trailers with Ajax tabs for uploading

- Real time upload progress bar (not flash) for videos and images

- Random videos module with Ajax refresh

- Random Pictures module

- Recently added videos

- Separate section for sexy videos

- Section for traffic trades or advertising

- Current number of users online

- Tags

- RSS feed of recently added videos

Videos & pictures section:

- Over 3,000 videos manually uploaded, categorized and commented on

- Over 400 pictures manually uploaded

- Adult content filter (either safe or not safe)

- Categories page with clean lay out

- Professional FLV player with watermark and embed ability

Celebrity section:

- Currently about 124 custom, manually formatted cebrity posts with original commentary

- 86 celebrity categories

Backend:

- Remove and modify videos and pictures

- Remove and modify registered users

- Change some aspects and functionality of the site

Promotion:

I Intended on doing some hardcore promoting, but never got the time with school and all. Anyways, if you like you will get 2 boxes of key chains to give out at school, works, parties or wherever to promote the site. The domain name is written on each key chain in 6 colors. See picture for detail. I didn't want to start out with the typical promo (web links and spamming) i wanted to try something different.

Domains:

You get the .com and the .net versions of the domain, free push with namecheap.

You will also get the original photoshop files foe the mascot, and the logo. Again, this is a custom coded, custom designed website and you will not see anything like it because it does not exist.

My asking price is not related to income because the site has no income, i never tried to make much off of the site because i had and still have high expectations.

As a side note, this site is better geared towards someone who knows a little about web languages and Linux/MySQL. The code does need some cleanup but nothing major. No n00bs please. What im hoping for is someone to continue with the development of the site and continue to add functionality.
