Like the site but a little to rich for my blood considering the last 6 months have shown very low income in your stats for the last 18 months only the first 6 or so where good like you describe above after that a steady fall to where it is now which is between $20 some months to $200 which is much less then what you state above

Description
http://www.tbirdforum.com is available
Website was stared by myself in February of 2000. The asking price is $6000 US$ Site was established as a free forum in 2000 so it is 8 years old. Forum is not as active as it used to be and that happened since I converted the site to participate in the eBay affiliate program about 15 months ago. My average profit on the site (with no money spent for advertising) has been in the $300+ a month range. I have made a lot more some months and some months a little less. I think I had a $650 month once or twice. What I tell you is the truth, I do not lie or embelish. There were times that I let the site sit dormant for years, and there have been times when I have made $5000 in an azoogle offer for an hdtv giveaway by sending an email to the forum membership base. Since this site has been around for 8 + years the traffic is mostly organic. Maybe once every 2 weeks I will post a couple of ads on a popular ad website like I am selling a ford thunderbird and that spikes traffic a little but sales are constant and site is 100% profitable with no cost associated with making the income it generates. I have never done any SEO work with the site. Take advantage of this opportunity and grow this business to the next level.

That is easy to explain. The higher income is a direct result of additional promotion. Recently with the income averaging $225 to $300 a month that is a result of just leaving things with no additional promotion. In the last 30 days I completely redid the coloring and updated the front end program. Additionally I recolored the forum to match the from page theme and had a new header graphic developed for the site. Tbirdforum is now positioned to additionally grow over time.

I have a few questions... What kind of additional promotion did you do, referring to above response? Why does each forum currently show the icon for 'Forum is Closed for Posting'? What do you mean you switched over to ebay affilate, what did you use before? Why did switching to ebay affiliate make people stop posting in the forum? Did you switch to ebay affiliate program in Apr 08 like the stats page shows or 15 months ago as stated in the description? Is the revenue from ebay affiliate only? Is the account transferable? I see a lot of other ads on the site, such clickbank and others. Are they included in the revenue calculation? Were any of the posts paid for or were they natural? Does the deal include the vBulletin license and is it transferable? What type of hosting is required? Yours only has 8k total posts while http://www.thunderbirdforum.com has 25k posts since 2001. Seems like the only purpose of the site now is the ebay listings and the forum is useless. How do you justify $6,000 asking price? Hope you don't mind all the questions.

Sorry I did not see your questions till now but here are your answers...
What kind of additional promotion did you do, referring to above response?
additional promotion means just that. instead of not promoting the site I promoted the site. the new owner will be told what that means. there is no cost associated with promoting the site. just a small bit of time. Why does each forum currently show the icon for 'Forum is Closed for Posting'?
I think you need to sign up first before you can post. What do you mean you switched over to ebay affilate, what did you use before?
The ebay EPN program is a replace of the commision junction program which was cancelled a few months ago.Why did switching to ebay affiliate make people stop posting in the forum?
It did not make them stop. What I did was find a way to make money from the site by converting the site to the way it is now instead of just a straight forum which was not profitable. The focus of this site is the profit and not the forum.Did you switch to ebay affiliate program in Apr 08 like the stats page shows or 15 months ago as stated in the description?
yes, that is correct. Is the revenue from ebay affiliate only?
Yes It Is.Is the account transferable?
This is not a matter of transferring the EPN account, you sign up for an EPN account and then simply change my id to your id.I see a lot of other ads on the site, such clickbank and others. Are they included in the revenue calculation?
No they are not. The revenue shown is ONLY from the money made from the ebay program. Were any of the posts paid for or were they natural?
Oh My God - the posts are all real and NONE were paid. keep in mind that the site is 8 years old.Does the deal include the vBulletin license and is it transferable?
YES and YESWhat type of hosting is required?
Normal - nothing fancyYours only has 8k total posts while http://www.thunderbirdforum.com has 25k posts since 2001.
Why is that relative. I tried to change the forum to a paid membership at one point and a lot of the "loyal members" jumped ship.Seems like the only purpose of the site now is the ebay listings and the forum is useless.
Bingo einstein, there is no point is running a free website. How do you justify $6,000 asking price? Hope you don't mind all the questions
I do not mind the questions - the 6k is an ASKING price. Old is Gold in the website business and tbirdforum.com is well established in the Search Engines. the site gets enough organic traffic to make a few hundred a month. It would take some one years to replicate this site and then at that the age of the site is its partial value.
So mufocus changed from rnning a free site to mae this a money making site. The forum used to be my primary concern but I left it in place as an added benefit. If you want to buy the site make a decent offer.thank you.
