Description
ABOUT PHPARCADESCRIPT:
phpArcadeScript was developed by myself over 3 years ago and has become one of the leading and more recognized arcade scripts on the marketplace today. Built on a PHP and MySQL backend, phpArcadeScript has been known as the arcade script that a webmaster of any age or experience level can run. The very first customer of a phpArcadeScript license was a 14 year old who wanted to open up his own website. Within 6 months his arcade was making upwards of $3,000 per month.
Currently v4.0 of phpArcadeScript is in the finishing stages. The buyer of the company will be guaranteed a full working version of v4.0 of phpArcadeScript within 30 days or less of the auctions close. The only hold up right now is its still being beta tested and I do not want to release a buggy script.
REVENUE DETAILS:
Those who want more specific details of the revenue of phpArcadeScript (from 2005 until present), can email me at scott@phparcadescript.com. There have been a few months over the past 3+ years that the revenue from script sales dropped below the $x,xxx range, but mostly due to the fact of members waiting for a new version of the script to appear. Other than those few months, the script has been a consistent earner in the $x,xxx range.
I also offer customization services for phpArcadeScript (template integration, addons, modifications) that also generate revenue in the mid-$xxx range on a monthly basis.
EXPENSES:
The only expenses that are part of phpArcadeScript is the hosting bill (new owner would need to transfer the website to their hosting), affiliate payments (currently there are $2,000 in affiliate fees that haven’t been paid out since the affiliates have not met their $50.00 minimum), and HotScripts.com featured listing spot.

WHY AM I SELLING:
I have owned and operated phpArcadeScript from day one with zero employees and have had the best 3+ years of my life doing so, however I believe that its time for the script to be taken to another level and some new fresh insight into the script will definitely be a way to do so. The other main reason is that I started this script a few years ago graduating college and I plan on going back to pursue an MBA and need to cover the costs of my education. With the fact that I would be going back to college, the time I would be able to devote to phpArcadeScript would decrease and this is not fair to the current phpArcadeScript customers.
WILL I BE LEAVING THE PHPAS COMMUNITY:
NO! As the majority of phpArcadeScript customers know, this has been my baby since day one and I want to see it grow. I plan on still being active in the phpArcadeScript support community and also available for any help the new owner of the script might need.
Please do not bid if you don’t plan on being able to continue to develop and support phpArcadeScript. If the business does not sell during this auction, I have no problem finding the time in my schedule to continue the development of the script as I have for the past 3 years. But as I said prior, I do believe a new owner with fresh insight into the niche field will be able to take phpArcadeScript to the next level.

If a BIN is made then I will be more than happy to payout the $2,000 to all affiliates even if they haven't met the $50.00 minimum in their accounts so the new owner can start fresh with the affiliates.
Otherwise the new owner will be responsible for paying the affiliate fees when the affiliates request their payments.

Domaintrade ... not sure what you mean about cannot get upgrades for free. As stated on our website, when you purchase, future upgrades are free and have been giving to all phpAS customers who request them.
As far as support goes, since day one we've been the only arcade script on the market that has offered support via live messenger services. Last month we even added the ability to offer live support from our website using Google Talks new website integration feature. But I do understand each customer has their own personal opinion of what counts as good and bad support and that is why I am not removing your comment. You are allowed to voice your opinion.

I have purchased atleast 10 licenses for the php arcade script.
its my personal opinion that this script is clearly the best arcade/media site available to date.
Support is great & granted Scott is not always online, But like he said he runs this himself.
I actually never really needed support other then to buy another license. the phpas forum has a ton of helpful people. The features for this script alone are outstanding.The Arcade industry is alive and doing great. this sale is in my opinion a great investment in the future of the arcade industry.

I would love to own phparcadescript but it's a little too pricey for me. I would say it's easily the number one arcade script out there. There are tons of forums out there with dedicated discussions on phpas.
Who ever does get this is one lucky guy/gal.

BIN lowered to $30,000.00
ALSO an update to my April 1st post (http://marketplace.sitepoint.com/auctions/33369#comment145083) regarding outstanding affiliate fee payments. Since the BIN has been lowered to $30,000, the new owner will be responsible for the outstanding affiliate fee payments.

Well, I would love to buy it and maybe I will so I might be shooting myself in the foot by chiming in here.
I have 6 phpas arcades. About a year ago, using phpas in combination with YPN advertising I grossed over $100k.
I could have used more expensive scripts or even made my own but phpas was the best solution.Gl Scotty
