How can you make money on this site?
Well there are couple things you can do. Placing ads on pages is one thing. You can use google adsense or yahoo ads. CPM ads are great, also when users click on an image that is linked on a forum or some other site then are taken to piclynk.com but there is a popup ad for 7 seconds. You can place any kind of ad there.
There are also membership fees if users sign up for a paid package or upgrade anytime in the future. Subscription payments could come to your paypal account each month. There are 3 users that have paid accounts right now.
This site has been up for less then 2 months. I had yahoo ads on there for CPM ads. On Oct. 10 I changed to Adsense ads to see how well it does and its better then yahoo ads. In a week oct.10 to oct. 16 it made $14. Total since Aug. 24 til Oct. 16 it made $61 from adsense and yahoo alone. It also made me some money from CPM ads i have but i dont have a channel set up to see what comes from my site, but i think $1-$2 a day.
Average is about $30 a month with the site only being less then 2 months old. You also make money from subscriptions if someone wants a premium account. I believe we had 3 people that signed up and paid total of $40.

First month we launched the website from aug. 24-31 we got 28,948 page impressions. Ave: 3618 impressions a day.
Month of September: 81,558 impressions.
October 1 til Oct. 16: 49,322 impressions.
We only ran google adwords for 5 days when we first started the site to get people to sign up. With only $10 adwords limit per day we averaged: 60-90 new sign ups a day. Now we dont advertise the site with adwords at all and average about 45 new users a day.
How do we get traffic?
Well the website advertises itself. Thats why this could spread so quickly if managed right. I personally don't have the marketing skills that i wish i could have but this site advertises its self when each user links their images in forums and other sites. MySpace.com is a great place to advertise this service. Everyone on there uses images and they need image hosting space. It will also advertise itself through out myspace because each image is linking back to piclynk.com and also there is a small watermark below each image that says piclynk.com
Right now i'm not spending a penny to advertise this site and its averaging close 1400 impressions a day and 50 new users a day.
We also have an affiliate program where we pay $0.03 per click. 5 publishers are advertising our site.

I had the website hosted with hosting packages, it is not hosted on a dedicated server where I could just make it all on one domain. You dont have to host it on with the other domain names.

Color choice and logo was designed by my girlfriend's brother. He does really good work. He didnt charge me anything but if you want some work done i can give you his website after the auction ends.
