Tell us a little about yourself. What’s your background? How did you start the business?

Hi there,

I am Nawajish and have graduated in Computer Science in 2015. I have been designing websites since 2015 and come into the affiliate business in 2016.

From the beginning of 2017, I started building my own team and at the end of 2017, I started blogging and making affiliate websites in full swing.

As an eCommerce business, where are your products made?

Mine is not an e-commerce site. It is a blogging/amazon affiliate site that has one ebook written by an in-house team.

What can you tell us about your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

Since I do blogging and monetize my site with affiliate networks and ad display I believe this is not relevant for my site.

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?

I couldn’t manage time for dedicated marketing for the ebook. Organic visitors are the main customers yet now. But with some marketing effort, the ebook sale will increase since it has great potential.

Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?

I am the owner of the site and I operate it. I have an in-house team for SEO and content writing. Including me, the total member is three.

Nothing is automated on the site. Everything I have done on this site after manual research and thorough study. Actually, I don’t prefer automation for affiliate sites.

What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?

To operate in the current form, if you just maintain the site regularly it should do. You just have to update the existing articles from time to time, check whether the product links are life or not, and update themes and plugins.

Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?

To take the site to the next level, I will suggest you publish new content on a regular basis. By publishing information content, you will increase and boost the organic traffic along with ad revenue.

You should publish some review articles too. It will increase the affiliate income. While doing so, you should do proper keyword research to find a low-competitive buying keyword.

While publishing new articles do proper interlinking. It will help the articles to rank easily.

You can push the exciting buying articles if you want. You have to acquire some quality backlinks for that.

What has been the evolution of this asset since its launch?

From the beginning of the site, I have maintained the quality of the contents, followed only the white hat SEO methods, and tried to link buildings from time to time. I have worked regularly on the site which includes publishing new content, updating existing ones, checking product links, and updating them if necessary.

The site gradually gained traffic and till now it is on a growing trend in terms of traffic and revenue.

How does this business make money? What are the current revenue streams?

The main revenue stream is an amazon affiliate and exotic display ad. And the ebook is bringing some revenue too.

What marketing channels are most profitable for the business?

You can do social marketing. The site has already a growing Pinterest profile. You can certainly utilize that.

But according to me the main thing is publishing low-competitive articles on regular basis to keep the organic traffic stable and growing.

How does the business currently acquire customers and what is your breakdown for marketing costs?

Since I monetize with affiliation and ad display, I have always tried to increase organic traffic. With traffic increases, the revenue increases as well. There is no other marketing in my case.

How big is your current team? How many people does it take to run this business?

Actually, I work on multiple projects simultaneously so I have built a team to manage those projects. But for you to maintain this site you don’t need a dedicated team of multiple people. You just have to publish new articles. You can outsource the content to freelance writers or you can write it yourself. The same goes for SEO.

The main thing is, that you don’t need dedicated people to work on this site, depending on your necessity you have to outsource the services you need. Right now, I have no dedicated team for this site. I am operating the site myself.
