Derick is a fourth-time founder with two successful exits, now building CustomBoxes.io to disrupt an $80B packaging industry. He began his career in Strategy and M&A at PwC, BP, and HomeDepot.com, where he helped acquire a $200M business and went on to manage both a $50M and $200M P&L. He later earned what he calls his “PhD in business” by launching a startup for HomeDepot.com. After learning the startup ropes, Derick moved into growth and intrapreneurial roles for large companies. Currently raising funding with Flippa Invest, Derick has a deep understanding, as well as hands-on experience of launching, validating, and growing disruptive models inside slow-moving industries.
