About the business
Tell us a little about yourself. What’s your background? How did you start the business?
Callus Performance started due to a need. They say necessity is the mother of invention, so from the painful and repeat occurrences of ripped bloody calluses due to my intense workouts, I invented Callus Performance. The humble little start-up concept is now growing fast and many professional athletes, hardcore enthusiasts, Gymnasts, anyone rough on their hands can see the value of healthy hands. I’m very proud to say that Callus Performance is sold globally, and all from a core concept and idea that met a painful need!
Thanks for the support and being here to read about how we started.
We’re proud to say that nothing compares to Callus Performance for maintaining your hand health and ensuring you won’t rip during your workout.
I invite you to try Callus Performance for optimal hand health in high friction sports and activities.
Thank You.
As an eCommerce business, where are your products made?
United States of America
What can you tell us about your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
CLV $500 CAC N/A
How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?
We have done limited marketing but most of it comes from influencers using our product in addition to google SEO.
Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?
I was 100% involved when I started the business back in 2017 but since 2020 it’s been on cruise control. Most of my time has been spent with other companies. So I do have a team of few people in place that take care of the SEO, social media Posting and fulfilment. The hard work was completed between 2017-2019. 2020 and 2021 are profitable and we continue to be in 2022.
What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?
It all depends. If one person buys the business for the first time, he/she can do this full-time and do all the work required. But if they don’t have the time; they might need 2-3 people to help run it.

The potential to tap into these markets is huge in addition to investing in marketing in advertising.

Validation and profitability. Our product has been tested by some of the best athletes in the world and approved. And what makes it even better is that we make money doing so now.

Website, Amazon and wholesale.
What marketing channels are most profitable for the business?

How does the business currently acquire customers and what is your breakdown for marketing costs?
Primarily amazon and influencer marketing.
What’s the reason for selling your business on Flippa?
I am involved in another business that takes most of my time, so I have decided to sell Callus Performance. Even though this is my baby, I invented this patented product, I just don’t have the time it needs to help it grow to its full potential.
