Tell us a little about yourself. What’s your background? How did you start the business?

Hi, this is Binod, And I’ve been into building websites and internet marketing since 2003. I used to deal a lot with social traffic, particularly Facebook, between 2010-2014. This is when I started this business. I was amazed by how BuzzFeed, boredpanda were all going viral and I wanted to build something similar. Which I did and I’ve had this business for over 7 years now.

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?

All the traffic is from Facebook, I’ve invested some money back in 2014-2015 but 90% of all the fans are organic and very engaging.

Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?

Yes, when I was actively working on the site, I did it myself. But now I have a VA who writes and runs the site. The site is almost completely automated and can be run with only about $500 in expenses for a VA and hosting fees.

What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?

Not much, just train a VA with the workflow. The VA needs good written and research skills, the rest is all on autopilot.

Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?

Certainly, actively working on the site can help increase traffic; just this month, revenue has averaged around $600 per day.

Aside from that, you can try to get into other premium ad networks such as mediavine and adthrive, which can almost double your rpm.

Or, if you can create videos, there are a lot of opportunities out there.

There is no need to further market this business. It’s already a steady passive income source.

There’s only 2 expense, one hosting/domain, another 1 VA.
