I’ve always wanted my own cell phone company. I decided to look into starting one and I accomplished that with some resources I found.

Most customers stay for about 2 to 3 years. We do not spend much on acquiring customers. We only pay advertisement fees for the one website we are listed on monthly to keep us active on the site.

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?

I haven’t done much marketing. Customers come from Google. I have blogs on my website that help with SEO.

20 hours or less a week. All my customers know me since I speak to them directly. I’ve been at the forefront of this business for years now. The subscriptions that are paid by the customers are automated.

Daily operations such as keeping track of customers who cancel and new customers.
Handle customer support through online website chat and Facebook. Create a merchant account to accept payments.

Running ads. I really lack in this part of the business. Running ads can bring tons of customers.

Covid helped gain more customers. It’s been steady ever since.

We are listed on a big telecommunications website which drives a good amount of potential customers to our website.

SEO through google. We do not do any advertisements. They visit our website through SEO, speak to us through our online chat and sign up if they like what we offer.

How big is your current team? How many people does it take to run this business?

4 but I mainly do the work. There are 2 people that help customers if I’m busy or not available to work. The 3rd person does administrative work.
