Tell us a little about yourself. What’s your background? How did you start the business?

Project manager. I started it because I was interested in the cryptocurrency Kin. They provide apps with a new and awesome way to monetize by paying you weekly for the transactions on your app. This is called the Kin Rewards Engine. You can think of it as the apps “mining” Kin in the same way nodes mine Bitcoin. It is a ripe opportunity now because there are not many apps involved, yet! Many are on the way in 2022 so you need to start now!

What can you tell us about your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

The acquisition cost has been about $.30/user.

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?

We mainly market overseas on Google and Facebook ads. US, India, Pakistan and many others.

Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?

The only thing really needed is to manage the ads and the approvals for the memes. We approve once to twice a day. The development team maintains any issues but we haven’t had a bug in several months. There are no necessary features to add but plenty of options.

What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?

Approve posts and manage marketing.

Add stand up comedians and unique ideas.

What has been the evolution of this asset since its launch?

Just added features according to our vision. We redid the UI as it was originally not so great.

How does this business make money? What are the current revenue streams?

Kin rewards engine but you can certainly put ads in the app.

How big is your current team? How many people does it take to run this business?

2 managers and 3 developers (India based team).

What’s the reason for selling your business on Flippa?

We are concentrating on a new Kin Ecosystem app called MeerKins and since we are only two people we can’t manage two projects. We also want some more funding to push this app to go viral. We will be in the Kin ecosystem and are well known so we can help with whatever is needed. 🙂
