Legal Services Packages

Flippa Legal facilitates the engagement of verified, vetted lawyers by buyers and sellers seeking legal assistance through pre-paid legal service packages.

You acknowledge and agree that ContractsCounsel or Flippa are not law firms and do not provide legal opinions, advice, or recommendations. Your relationship with ContractsCounsel and Flippa is not protected by attorney-client privilege or legal work product.

When you purchase a legal services package via Flippa Legal, your relationship with the independent lawyer will be governed by the individual engagement letter provided by that lawyer.

Legal services will only commence once payment is confirmed by Flippa and ContractsCounsel has made contact with you and introduced your lawyer. Once your payment is confirmed, ContractsCounsel will receive an email about the purchase instantaneously and will then connect you with a lawyer. Flippa will provide ContractsCounsel with your contact details including your name, email and phone number in order to organize the services. By purchasing a package, you consent to ContactsCounsel contacting you and providing the introduction.

No attorney/client relationship is established unless and until you have signed an independent engagement letter to establish the attorney-client relationship. The lawyer will provide you with his/her personal and/or company details (such as email address and name of firm) and specify the scope of work, describing in detail what is included in the package and what types of work are included in the package such as phone advice, letter of advice, review, drafting, negotiation, meeting or other, and the specified time for completion. The lawyer acknowledges that if no time frame is specified, he/she will complete the work within a reasonable period of time.

You acknowledge and agree that the scope of the legal services to be provided is strictly limited to that described unless otherwise agreed with your lawyer. A lawyer is not required to perform any work that falls outside the scope of the work described. Where there are changes to the instructions or where there is additional work, the lawyer is entitled to charge additional fees and will notify ContractsCounsel prior to quoting for additional services.

Fees for legal services package must be paid upfront and comprise professional fees and disbursements. A tax invoice will be issued and sent to your registered email upon payment.

If you are unsatisfied with the legal services you have received, please let us know via [email protected]. Flippa will hear your complaint and defer it with ContractsCounsel for a resolution.
