All in all the portfolios go well into the 7-figs. I purchased this business from a friend who needed a quick liquidation a few years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SEO and Paid media. Traffic is coming from Organic search and Google Ads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Owner operated, maybe 2 hours a month? A bit more in a month where we are adding content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Occasionally review whether products are still in stock. Perhaps build or buy some links. Add new products to reviews. Order content from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Growing the business<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I suggest that the buyer works to rank the US website as the market in the US is FAR bigger than in the UK. Also, suggest adding\/improving social and email marketing AND reviewing the PPC campaigns. It&#8217;s a simple project that can scale easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What has been the evolution of this asset since its launch?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We purchased this website just over 3 years ago and had initially just parked it. Since then we have actively been working on it.<br>Over time we added the US domain to the project and started to rank this too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How does this business make money? What are the current revenue streams?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The website makes all of its revenue from affiliate deals.<br>Currently, we are partnered with various vendors via ShareaSale, Awin, Amazon &amp; Directly with one vendor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What marketing channels are most profitable for the business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hands down Organic Search + PPC. We have experimented a lot with this and have found those two channels to be the most effective for us. I do believe though that over time, and with the right expertise, social and email marketing could add a substantial chunk of profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How does the business currently acquire customers and what is your breakdown for marketing costs?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solely through Organic + PPC. The PPC spend fluctuates based on the month, I suggest checking out the P&amp;L on the listing page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How big is your current team? How many people does it take to run this business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are currently no employees. We have some freelance contractors that we use on an ad-hoc basis to create content. I go into the website from time to time to update content or move product lists around. Other than that the project is pretty much passive at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the reason for selling your business on Flippa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am consolidating my portfolio ahead of 2022.
