Tell us a little about yourself. What\u2019s your background? How did you start the business?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’m a former advertising copywriter, a current SEO agency owner, and a part-time entrepreneur. While going to school for an MBA, I discovered blockchain and became obsessed with cryptocurrency. At the time, I was just starting to learn how to leverage SEO and content marketing to grow websites and realized there was (and still is) a lack of good advice around buying, selling and HODLing crypto. I turned my passion for blockchain and background in copywriting into BitcoinNoobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I wrote all the content myself and focused on helping the average person learn how to invest in cryptocurrency. Our in-depth tutorials, crypto exchange reviews, and educational infographics have been shared thousands of times on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. I spent hours writing our long-form content using my own experience buying and investing in crypto<\/a> as a guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’d recommend creating new content around high volume, low difficulty keywords with buying intent such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then you can either send that website traffic to signup for an exchange that offers those coins. You could also just create guides on how to buy coin-name for the top 10-50 cryptos. That would be a pretty straightforward template and I’d be happy to consult post-sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been the evolution of this asset since its launch?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A few months after starting the website there was an explosion of interest in bitcoin and the price of the currency surged to more than $20,000. It was around this time that I broke the URL structure of a few key pages and watched as traffic sunk from thousands of visitors a day to a few hundred, but not before signing up 1,000+ affiliates on various crypto exchanges. Included in the sale of BitcoinNoobs are a half dozen crypto exchange affiliate accounts. The main affiliate offers 30% commissions for the lifetime of the users I signed up with, which means you’ll be printing money from day one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does this business make money? What are the current revenue streams?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

BitcoinNoobs is an affiliate site. We provide reviews and content around how to buy, sell, and invest in cryptocurrency. When users sign up for a crypto exchange (coinbase, cex, Kraken, etc.) we make a percentage of the fees that they pay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does the business currently acquire customers and what is your breakdown for marketing costs?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We acquire new customers through guest posting content and organic search. There aren’t any current marketing costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our current team is just myself. It takes zero hours per month to run this business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
