Brad Younger here, I am an IT Consultant turned eCommerce nut. For the last 15 years, I\u2019ve been helping large companies like banks connect their systems so they don\u2019t have to waste time on needless tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over that time I am sure I have saved countless hours and frustration. One day someone asked if I could do that for their eCommerce business<\/a> and I said sure, not realizing that what we will do is massively reduce her admin time by connecting her systems together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By connecting her sales channels, warehouse, and wholesale systems to her ERP system, we are able to keep her stock levels up to date to reduce the number of oversells. We get the orders from the sales channels to the warehouse within minutes so they can be shipped faster. Keeping the order status up to date is helping keep customers happy as they know exactly what’s happening with their order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are helping eCommerce businesses everywhere to un-complicate their IT systems and making manual processes like exporting and importing files between systems a thing of the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an eCommerce business, where are your products made?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No products. This is an app for eCommerce businesses. I don’t think this question is relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can you tell us about your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My longest-serving customer has been with me now for 6 years. Our average Customer lifetime is about 3 years and CLV is about $5,400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our CAC is actually at $0 because we only get referrals from the marketplaces we connect. These are the best types of customers as the app fits their needs and is at the best acquisition cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All my customers come from referrals. Mainly from the marketplaces, we integrate like The Iconic and Hard To Find. I’d say about 15% come from word of mouth through other customers, 3PLs, and agencies like Shopify Experts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, it is owner operated. It takes me no more than 5 hours a week to look after the support requests that come in. I have canned responses to most things as there are generally only 2 to 3 things that can go wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app is designed to be as Self Service as possible. About 70% of new customers sign up and get going without the need for our help. We have a great integration guide written that covers every topic and the registration process has only 3 steps and takes less than 5 minutes for people to sign up and get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We get a lot of positive comments about how easy it is to set up with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have separated all tools, hosting, etc into their own accounts and the new owner can simply take over the new accounts. Once they have access to the Stripe account, they can update the bank account and they will start to receive the revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s as simple as that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will show the new owner around and how I operate the business. I will also be around to answer questions for the next 6 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am also happy to spend some time with the new owner to show them how they can grow the app with some of the opportunities I have added to the listing. I will also be available to help them onboard a development resource if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
