Tell us a little about yourself. What\u2019s your background? How did you start the business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the very start of the first lockdown, I had sold my previous business and had some time on my hands. A friend of mine had recently sold his affiliate site for a multi-million-pound deal and my best friend was working on another site he’s recently sold through Flippa. I thought id try my hand at a review site but didn’t want to put any money into it so wrote all the content myself, did the design myself and everything was done by me. I didn’t monetize straight away but in January 2021 around 6 months after starting the two sites I decided to monetize and within 6 weeks had made over \u00a3100. Fast forward another 6 months and I started a new business so my content sites became a hobby and more recently am finding it more difficult to find the time to work on them, hence selling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

both sites are mainly, based and monetized in the UK but both received a fair bit of traffic from the USA and other countries that could be monetized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although I started out 100% operated by me, in which I work on the site daily but not full time, in the recent months I have reached out to content writers to help me keep up with the schedule that I set myself, I upload the blogs myself, with all the internals, images and SEO side of things myself (Probably why there is huge room for improvement) but the content comes in automatically. I say I spend 2-3 hours a fortnight on the sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only thing needed to run it how I run it now is an Upwork account, an authority builders account, and 2-3 hours a fortnight to upload the blogs. Although I would recommend checking the links across the whole site to fix\/update any broken links as I’m sure this could boost sales massively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Growing the business<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LOADS, it’s a shame I don’t have the time really. Firstly, Adsense, I currently get around 6000 traffic per month so that’s an easy boost in income straight away. Secondly, fixing broken links through to amazon as that’s another job I have found too overwhelming to get done. Building a stronger link profile, at the moment I use Authority builders but a tailored and plausible link profile would boost the site massively as also a more in-depth internal link profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been the evolution of this asset since its launch?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The site has always done the same thing from start to now but the tasks are becoming too much for me to handle on my own and I don’t have the time or resources to fix these problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does this business make money? What are the current revenue streams?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The only current revenue stream is amazon affiliate in the UK but like I mentioned there are easily another two that can be implemented immediately<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What marketing channels are most profitable for the business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sites are almost solely organic search based but the toddler site has over 1000 followers across all socials which could be used as another channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does the business currently acquire customers and what is your breakdown for marketing costs?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In organic search, no money is spent on marketing directly but content and backlinks have been purchased<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How big is your current team? How many people does it take to run this business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s the reason for selling your business on Flippa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No time to dedicate to the sites, they are being maintained and really deserve to be grown. Pressure washers Review is a gold mine and could easily be a leading site for the UK with the right team behind it. Toddler site also has a large amount of top 10 keywords which with the right no how, which I don’t have, I feel could be boosted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
