Tell us a little about yourself. What\u2019s your background? How did you start the business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a degreed electric and computer engineer who’s worked on high altitude rockets in College and later at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. I went on to successfully start my own real estate wholesaling company and then later left that market to build two High Ticket Dropshipping Stores<\/a> on Shopify. The stores were built while road tripping the country and working remotely and became profitable immediately after their initial launches. I’ve since outsourced 90% of the store’s work and spent my time building and scaling a new Real Estate Investment business in a different market. I have a passion for building sound and well-documented systems that can scale revenue, and business has been a creative outlet for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an eCommerce business<\/a>, where are your products made?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the suppliers we have business relationships with withholding their inventory in U.S.-based warehouses. We dropship directly from their warehouses to the customer’s home. The products are mainly made in China, the U.S., and Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can you tell us about your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our customer acquisition cost is very affordable and seasoned Google Advertising Campaigns push consistent traffic to the store while allowing for a good profit margin on sales made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We only sell to U.S.-based customers to keep shipping simple and affordable. Customers primarily come from Google Shopping and Search, via organic search and paid ads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The listing is owner-operated, but nearly all of the daily tasks are outsourced with our full-time customer service virtual assistant. All customer communication, adding new products, maintaining the store’s health with product updates, and email management are all outsourced. The owner currently just has to maintain and slightly adjust the online advertising campaigns, manage the store’s VA and pay for some of the orders manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintain the good organization and processes that are already in place, keep an eye on the advertising campaigns that are already set up, and manage the store’s virtual assistant. This can all be done effectively with 5-10 hours per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advertising spend can be increased by reinvesting profits into Ads. This will provide even more data to analyze which will allow for best-selling products to be found faster and doubled down on. In addition, more blog articles can be written and SEO can be improved with backlinks, internal linking and other methods to increase organic traffic over time. Product review videos can be made and shared on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok to raise more brand awareness as we’ve found people buy from those who help them find what they’re looking for and provide great info.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been the evolution of this asset since its launch?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continued expansion by onboarding new suppliers continuously to allow our customers to have many options to choose from in our store. Advertising accounts have been honed in and refined and more processes have been created and added to smooth out daily operations over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does this business make money? What are the current revenue streams?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The business makes money when customers purchase products on the website. Those products are listed at prices that have built-in profit margins that the store gets to realize when sales are made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google Advertising with text and shopping ads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It only takes 2 people to run the business at the moment, though we have used freelancers to help scale improve certain aspects of the store such as web design, adding products, and other one-off tasks. One full-time customer service representative and then an owner-manager that oversees high-level tasks. There is still room to outsource and delegate as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s the reason for selling your business on Flippa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started to store in order to sell it and move onto other business ventures more aligned with my passions with the capital. Real estate is my full-time gig and I am aiming to simplify my business portfolio. Due to the success that we’ve seen and with peak demand season approaching I want to take life a bit slower and manage the business even less than I currently am.
