Tell us a little about yourself. What’s your background? How did you start the business?

I have a deep love for e-commerce and digital advertising. I have created over 12 million in total revenue from growing niche businesses and products. Some of my most successful have been beauty, medical, and aesthetics training businesses. I try to find businesses that have a digital product that pair with a physical, reoccurring product. This unique blend allows for you to make money on the front end with your digital product, and also drive reoccurring revenue as customers come back to get supplies that they need.

As an e-Commerce business, where are your products made?

Many of the products are made in China

As a SaaS business, what can you tell us about your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

$150-$300 Customer Acquisition Cost

$789+ LTV

55% & Growing Customer Retention

How have you marketed the product and where are your customers originating from?

This is an incredibly, sell sufficient, profitable, e-commerce business ran on Shopify. We sell online training programs and equipment to beauty professionals looking to expand their services or start a new business. Our customers are primarily in the US but it could easily grow to be a global distribution and education brand. Many customers have come from Facebook, Instagram, and Google. However, we have yet to enter Amazon or Etsy so that area of growth is still completely untapped.

Is the asset on your listing owner-operated, how much time does it take to run the business, who else is needed on the team, and what is automated?

As an owner, you won’t need to spend too much time at all on this business especially if you have a team that already does some of the things below.

This business needs a small customer care team of one, possibly two people during holidays. 30-40 hours weekly. We have many customer service responses built out to make training anyone simple. Also because these products come with training courses. You can send employees through the courses to learn everything they need to know about the procedures.

You will also need some content creation for ads and marketing purposes as well as a team member with very basic web knowledge. The purchase would include a few months of consulting and some existing talent could also be sourced if needed. 5-10 hours weekly. Needs some paid traffic for growth. You could also create growth by trying new sales offers.

The business also runs with very few suppliers who are all very easy to work with and highly attentive.

Lastly, you will need 10-14 hours weekly for distribution, or a distribution centre.

If you would like to tap into some of my existing talents, once sold I can definitely help facilitate that.

What does someone need to do to continue operating the business in its current form?

The operations of this business currently are pretty simple. Just order a product when it’s out of stock and manage your team and ads.

Can you list a few opportunities for a potential new owner to continue growing the business?

Here are some things you could do to make this business even more profitable:

Add Physical Locations

This could be a great way to generate a larger culture, fuel your content marketing system, add face-to-face training, and generate more income. You could use these venues to work with or hire aesthetics professionals to perform treatments and offer face-to-face training or webinars. This will create endless content that you can use to grow the business.

Amazon & Etsy

I believe adding these products to Amazon could help create $50k to $100k per month quite quickly. You can sell the individual brand items or you could add the training kits with courses as a digital PDF through a USB drive and link to or the training videos to the PDF. This will help you get the most out of the product and boost your margins significantly.

Influencers & Affiliates

This companies affiliate program was only recently launched. With a little bit more time to build and some influencer outreach, this could be another untapped source of huge potential.

Improve The Offer & Funnel

I think that the offer and funnel can be improved to help get even lower acquisition costs and to help the customer make a decision to buy faster. With an improved conversion rate optimization, this company could easily hit 3-4 million annually.

Add More Products

You could add digital advanced mini-courses that you up-sell to people that have purchased the main training. Also adding more training programs and procedure supplies could help cross-sell existing customers and bring different audiences into your funnel. For example, microblading, or lash extensions may be good because you can charge a very low price then work that customer up to larger courses and nurture the LTV.

Create A TV Show or Series

Using your physical location could create a YouTube series where your products and training programs could be the title sponsor and benefactor.

What has been the evolution of this asset since its launch?

This business was started with very little start-up cost and has grown to be a pretty vast but simple operation. It started with one course and now we have four main courses. It could grow to have hundreds of courses and products quite easily.

How does this business make money? What are the current revenue streams?

This business makes money from selling a combination of digital and physical products. It uses paid advertising, natural social word of mouth, and search to drive traffic.

What marketing channels are most profitable for the business?

Facebook & Google are currently most profitable.

How does the business currently acquire customers and what is your breakdown for marketing costs?

We have a few different ways that we get customers but most traffic if directed to landing pages that either collect leads, then we will nurture them on the back end, or the landing pages drive directly to purchase.

How big is your current team? How many people does it take to run this business?

What’s the reason for selling your business on Flippa?

This business has an incredibly strong brand and reputation. We stay on top of our customer service and provide fast shipping. THIS IS NOT A Drop Shipping company. This has serious potential to evolve into a massive beauty company. I’m selling because I’ve been in e-commerce for most of my life and I’m looking to just take a step back for a bit and build something new. I never intended for this business to grow as fast or be as profitable as it became. I would love to see someone else give it some love and have fun with this project.

Upon sale, I can hand over all supplier contacts, branding, video archives, passwords, and anything else you need that is associated with the business.

I am also willing to consult for a short period of time to be sure that everything goes smoothly and you and your team fully understand how the business works.

If you have any questions we can zoom in and go through everything.

Thanks,
