This site is a well aged niche site with great earning potential. This Wordpress based site comes with its own PBN of seven sites.
All PBN sites are more than two years old and the site is over three years old, which gives the site an SEO advantage.
Previously this site has earned over $3,000 USD at its height with over 20,000 monthly page views.
Minimal monthly effort is required maintain and operate the site. In the past I spent less than an average of two hours a month on the site at the moment. The biggest amount of time is taken up by research and writing.
Due to an issue with our webhost in December which took the site offline for over 72 hours, plus a lack of time to invest in the site to improve things, page views and earnings have decreased.
However, with effort, the site can return to its previous rankings, page views and earnings. Even with no effort put in for some time this site has still made an average of $261 USD net profit in the last three months and an average of $297 USD over the last six.
In 2016 the site made an average monthly profit of $2725 USD.
An earnings report covering the life of the site and screenshots for each month from the US, Canadian and UK affiliate accounts are attached to the listing. I am happy to give access to these accounts by adding you as a secondary user for further verification (although please don't ask unless you're serious about buying).
All content on the site and the PBN sites is original and high quality, written by native English speakers (mainly me). No generated content has been used.
Note: Although search engine rankings have suffered after the hosting issue there have been no Google penalties.
The initial asking price and the reserve have been calculated off multiples of the average net profit from the last thee months.
Australian buyers: Buyers who are Australian tax residents need to either provide an ABN or pay the 10% GST on the final sale price. This must be paid separate to the sale price paid to Flippa and directly to me. A tax receipt with my ABN can be provided on request.
Non-Australian buyers can ignore the above (but are welcome to ask for a receipt).
What is included in the sale?
Included in the sale is the domain name, all site contents and the database to allow the Wordpress instance to be moved and set up elsewhere.
Also included is the seven site PBN (all Wordpress content and domain names). The PBN sites are all at least two years old.
Social media accounts for Pintrest and Instagram will also be provided. There is a facebook account, however Facebook locked it as they believe it was a fake page and so it is inaccessible.
I'm happy to answer emails for 30 days post sale if needed, as well as allow the use of the current hosting and SSL certificate for the same period to give the time to the buyer to move the site post sale.
What is required to keep the business operational?
To operate the site a buyer will need hosting, an SSL certificate and an Amazon Affiliate account. Ideally the buyer has or can set up affiliate accounts for Amazon Canada and the UK (and any other country they wish, too, as the site has a Wordpress plugin to allow for localization based on the origin of the visitor).
Time wise the site is low maintenance. At most I spent an average of oe or two hours per month on the site when I was working on it regularly.
Any buyer should ideally add more content on a regular basis (a new article every one or two months at a minimum) as well as review the site every year to make sure all products are still available. These are completely up to whoever buys the site, though.
Why are you selling the business?
I'm no longer able to invest the time to get the most out of this site and make it reach it's potential.
How does the business generate revenue?
The website makes money exclusively from the Amazon Affiliate program, primarily from the US but also some money from Canada and the UK.
Are there any expenses for the business? If so, what are they?
Essential costs are very low: only hosting and the SSL cert are required on an ongoing basis.
In the past I've outsourced writing which contributed to expenses but is not required if you're prepared to write new content yourself.
What marketing initiatives have been used for this business?
Link building is the primary means of driving traffic/marketing. Social media (Pintrest, Facebook and Instagram) has also been used.
Paid traffic and paid ads have not been used.
How can the future owner improve the business?
There's a lot that someone can be done to improve the number of visitors and earnings.
Link building will improve search engine rankings and is the best way to increase earnings.
New, regular, content, will also help improve search engine rankings. I've found new high quality content increases sales - especially longer buying guides.
When an Australian Amazon affiliate program commences opening an Amazon AU affiliate account will also boost earnings as a small but significant portion of visitors
