Captain Cash is a unique pirate strategy game where every move counts, from first to last. It truly is an addictive game where the goal is to shoot treasures in the middle of the screen. As far as we know, this is the only game with this game logic in the App Market.
High Quality Graphics - we have built this game from scratch, and designed every character in it. We made sure that all of them have excellent and well-themed graphics contributing to the gamer’s immersion and most especially to attract a wide range of gamer demographics.
Challenging & Addictive Gameplay - we have designed this game to encourage player immersion by presenting them with a unique challenge every stage. We made sure that they’ll keep coming back for more!
This app lets you travel the seven seas as Captain Cash. The only way to beat the game is to let your wits guide you to fortune. On your quest you will:
♦ Conquer vortexes, volcanos and flesh-eating plants (Shiver me timbers!!!)
♦ Explore underwater worlds, tropical islands, ancient jungles and frozen tundra
♦ Encounter wild creatures from every corner of the earth
♦ Chart progress using an overview treasure map
This is the first game proudly made from Estonia, we haven’t done any marketing on this game however media outlets have written about it:
REASON FOR SALE
The game full development costs (coding, UX and design) were 12,000 €. Everything is custom made. But after finishing the game, I didn't have any money left for marketing. I ultimately made the decision to sell because my lack of funds for marketing is holding the game back. I truly hope that the new buyer will have more resource for marketing, as this game has a very big potential to earn big because of its well designed elements.
I hired 2 Programmers, 1 Graphic designer and 1 UX/UI Specialist for this project. The app is really professionally built. It has stunning graphics. Coding language is Java and we used libGDX framework. The designer used Adobe programs for graphic design (design files are .psd, .ai ).
This app basically runs by itself as it doesn’t use any server or any other associated costs for maintaining it. Other than that, the main costs come from keeping the game live, this is the standard Apple Developer Program annual fee of 99 USD and/or Google Play developer account one time fee 25 USD. However it would depend on the new owner if the app will be maintained on both markets.
As mentioned I don’t have enough funds to market the game, so I strongly suggest to the new owner to invest in the game and some marketing. It's a beautiful and addictive game, but unfortunately people really don't know it's in the market :)
We haven’t monetized this app as we have focused on making a great game, and we would like to grow its userbase first.
I haven’t done any marketing initiative as I didn’t really have the knowledge or financial opportunity to market this properly. All exposure that this game had was from the own initiative of the media outlets.

The buyer will get full access to bitbucket.com project, where the Captain Cash source code is uploaded. There is also the commitment history of the 2 developers and code history, how they have built the full game. Buyer will get full access to design folder uploaded to dropbox.com. As a bonus, the buyer will also get admin full access to https://www.facebook.com/captaincashofficial page.
This game presents a huge opportunity to earn big, because it’s already a well-designed and well-built game. All the elements of an addictive game is already laid-out for the new owner. All it needs to do is to be monetized. However, I would still suggest to do the monetization with proper marketing.
The way to do this is to first add AdMob (or other Ad Networks) and then relaunch the game with a proper marketing campaign. For instance, the new owner can use facebook ad campaign. The facebook account is already in included in the sale, hence it’s already laid out and ready for the new owner to take over.
Finally, this game comes with 3 in-app purchases, that lets our players have powerful boosters like Bombs, Magnetics and Fire. We have made the IAP as enjoyable as it can be for our players, but we may have marketed it wrongly (leading to no revenue from IAP). Hence we would like to advise the new owner to optimise the pricing and market it properly with our players.
With all of the above, we can honestly say that this app will provide a good monthly income to its new owner.
