The business allows users to do a free license plate check to find out about all cars registered in the Netherlands. The free report includes basic information about the car being searched for, but to find more detailed information such as a car damage history info, mileage check, detailed value and owner history the users need to pay a fee. The premium report is sold by our affiliate partner. This partner can best be described as the "Dutch Carfax".

How is the content of your website produced? 

All of the content for the landing pages is keyword optimised. Currently, we publish a minimum of one blog a week. We have two decent content writers that can write articles for just 1,45 cents a word.

How does this work:

1) We do some keyword research;

2) Send the keywords with a short description to the writer;

3) He/she writes the articles

4) We publish it

Note: content has been scheduled until October 2017. There are situations in which we write articles ourselves as well. We focus on important news in the sector, such information about the growth in second hand car sales, mileage fraud and so on.

Yes, but I wouldn't call it customer support. Sometimes we receive comments on our posts & pages. If need be, we respond and include an affiliate link in our response.

What are the primary growth opportunities for the business going forward?

The market the website operates is growing. Besides the increase in potential customers due to this fact, there are multiple online marketing/ SEO growth opportunities for this business:

1. Traffic growth - The niche the websites operates in is one of the biggest in the Netherlands (i.e. buying and selling secondhand cars.) It is a market that continues to grow year after year. We managed to achieve top rankings for a lot of highly profitable keywords. However, there are hundreds of keywords (with hundreds of thousands of monthly search queries) for which we aren't ranking top 5. If done properly the buyer can triple the number of visitors by targeting these keywords.

2. Google Analytics - We have never done anything to gain further insights into our website visitors and their behaviour on the website. By optimising Analytics you can gain valuable insights in buyer behaviour.

2. Conversion optimisation - We haven't done any conversion optimisation at all: the website is still in its initial state in terms of Design. This means the buyer can increase conversion by doing A/B tests, which should in theory, lead to increases in revenue. 

3. E-mail subscribers - With around 70-80k unique visitors each month the buyer can gather a large amount of e-mails. These can then be used to retarget visitors with related offers.

4. Social Media - Although we do have a social media account we havent used it properly. This is yet another opportunity that could generate more traffic.

5. Extra Affiliate Programs - There are many more interesting affiliate programs that can be integrated into the site.  

Are there any geographical limitations to the potential buyer of the business?

Although the customers of our site are Dutch, the potential buyer is not limited to any geographical limitations. You can easily hire some native Dutch SEO experts to produce content and build backlinks.
