 I am a programmer, I make apps and browser/desktop games.

 This app has over 110,000 downloads despite only being on Google Play for about 3 months. The app gets over 800 downloads per day virtually every day, many days getting far over 1000.

The app is ranked well and has made consistent passive income for a couple of months.

Army Men: FPS is a toy army men themed FPS game. It is a deathmatch arena style game where you battle against army men and respawn when you are killed.

How to play: Use your left thumb to move around the level and your right thumb to look around. When you are aimed at an opponent, tap the fire button to shoot them.

The game has 3 maps and it's easy to add new maps and content. The game is an original game, not a reskin.



 Under different circumstances I would keep this game and never sell it, because it is a winner. The iOS version is not published yet meaning there is potentially a much larger income to be generated from this app. Ideally I would want to just continue developing it, adding to it and trying to generate higher and higher monthly income from it. But due to some unexpected expenses I am selling this to cover them.



 I created this game in Unity. It's super easy to manage. There are no costs, so anything you earn is 100% profit.

I will provide a video for the winner, showing them exactly how to edit the game, a step by step guide to adding new levels, changing out models etc.

The game is currently monetized with Chartboost and StartApp.



 The game does not require any maintenance, other than creating updates when you want to. The most you will spend your time outside updating the game is logging in to Chartboost/StartApp to see how much you made that day.



 At first I did not put any ads on the game. About 2 months ago I decided it was time, and I put Chartboost and Admob ads in the game (A Chartboost interstitial and an Admob banner.)

The game made $253 in April however Admob was not live for the first 10 days of that month.

In May, both Chartboost and Admob were live every day and the app made $346

At the moment I have swapped Admob for StartApp to see how StartApp performs.

I recommend trying different things to work out what gets you the best return. Having the flow of tens of thousands of downloads a month is enough traffic to experiment and find out what works.



 The game has not been marketed at all. I never paid for any downloads, reviews or traffic. Everything is 100% natural, virtually all traffic to the app is type in traffic through the store.

 The app received some 1 star reviews early on because many people were getting stuck and could not move. This only happened with some devices. I fixed the issue with a new version so that should help the rating continue higher.



 This game has only been released on Google Play. You can submit this to the Apple iOS App Store and that will open a potential new avenue for revenue.

The game is only 3 months old but already has over 110,000 downloads. You can continue to work on the game and tweak the advertising strategies to earn more.

This game currently has no in app purchases! You can add a 'remove ads' in-app purchase, or create new features such as new weapons and maps that you can charge for, creating another potential stream of income for this app.

Hi, from very recent reviews on play store as of yesterday and so, there are still pretty much control issues, will you be fixing that prior to sale or selling as it is ?

@szbusiness This month there are no reviews about the controls not working, as they are now fixed. Only one comment from someone who did not like the controls.

Sometimes a user will 1 star an app primary just for having ads, but for me that's a price worth paying for the revenue those ads generate. Overall, Army Men: FPS gets more than double the 5 star ratings than 1.

Of course if the buyer needs something changed/fixed before the transfer of the app, I am more than happy to do that free, as long as it's within my abilities.

@lightfield Hey, I will provide a set of videos for the winner showing how to edit levels, characters and other things like the menu. It is all done in Unity which can be downloaded for free. Because you can just copy what is done in the video, it will be easy to customize the game as needed.

Programming knowledge is not needed for customizing the game, however it would be needed if you wanted to add totally new modes (Like capture the flag).

The only accounts you will need to set up are:
- Google play developer account (To receive the app- this costs $25)
- Chartboost, Admob or StartApp (One or more of them) to display ads and generate revenue
- Apple developer account IF you want to submit the game to the iOS store (This costs $99 per year).

It can be run from anywhere. At the moment the game requires no maintenance at all, it just sits on the store and consistently generates revenue. It earns more on Thursdays-Sundays and less Monday-Wednesday usually.
