Business Model

The business derives 100% of its revenue from product sales and the majority of its customers are located in the U.S. In addition to selling its products on the two main websites, the business also partners with Zulily for 3-5 event sales per month. Over the TTM, the business’ gross revenue was approximately $183,000.00 and its net profit was approximately $61,000.00.

Because the business utilizes a dropship model, it does not hold inventory on its premises. However, it does “carry” approximately 800 units of inventory with Amazon FBA, and this inventory is processed and shipped by Amazon. The business has used the same four suppliers since its inception.

The owners spend approximately 14 hours per week operating the business. This time is primarily spent managing events, bookkeeping, managing the fulfillment center, updating the website, and handling customer service queries.
