EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This brand focuses on reusable Gel adhesives. Currently, the adaptable business model sells directly to distributors which provide flexible operations for the owner. However, the business has the ability to sell its products successfully through multiple channels as it has done in the past.

The business got its start from a very successful Kickstarter campaign in April 2016 and sold online direct to customers in July 2016. The owner ended this model in favor of a direct to distributor sales strategy starting in January 2017 through the present day.

Typical end-user customers fall into two main categories. First, renters in their 20’s-30’s, who are looking for quality alternatives to using nails, tacks etc. for hanging items without causing damage. Second, homeowners in the 30-55 age range looking for alternatives to in-sight storage solutions of kitchen, bathroom and office gadgets and accessories.

The owner is selling the business because he looking to start a new business that he has been working on for several years. The proceeds from this sale will fund his new venture. The sale includes all online accounts, images, artwork, packaging designs, mailing lists, business resources, prototypes, samples, video and any and all other media and intellectual property associated with the brand. 


BUSINESS MODEL

The business has developed from a predominantly business to consumer company, to a business-to-business brand with multiple distributors carrying its products. This model allows great flexibility and only requires a smartphone, tablet or laptop and an internet connection to run. They have been focusing on collecting many distributors in many regions around the world and their list is growing weekly. 

Operationally, around 8-15 hours per week is spent on acquiring new distributors who supply online demand and retail in their chosen and signed regions. The remainder of our time is spent fulfilling orders between manufacturers and our distributors, R&D, customer service, developing the brand etc. with and average of 12+- hours per week.

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

There are numerous strategic opportunities the new owner could pursue to build on its success, expand and continue growth.

1. The new owner could easily reimplement the online store B2C operation model. A stationary business model may offer great growth and larger margins if the stock is held and fulfilled by the business owner. This could compliment the current B2B model in place. 

2. Expanding product lines and offerings of the brand. With some R&D underway and a growing base of satisfied customers and distributors, building on the brand’s successful foundation will be an easy in-road for growth with new products.

3. Implementing AdWords campaigns, increasing advertising, and leveraging the successful following on social media platforms like Instagram are low-hanging fruit that the new owner could implement and scale immediately.
