Seller's Notes

Premium Ecommerce Dropshipping Site in high demand niche.

No need to carry stock, all items are Dropshipped direct from the supplier. With custom packaging and logos for the box. Ordering and having items sent directly to your customers takes around 30-40 seconds per order. We have actually set up our own virtual assistant so that I dont have to fulfill orders.

Also this is a premium domain. We have both the .com and the .com.au. This is not a FAD site and will bring a long term income if you take care of it.

Also huge potential to increase sales with Facebook and instagram ads. This business was up as a side business, someone with more time can easily grow this business. Also, could look at wholesaling the products to other stores and shops. The right owner could make a great income from his store.

Executive Summary

Established on the 3rd of April, Ultimate lamps sources and sells unique 3d lamps. The businesses typical customers are men and woman between the ages of 26 - 48 years old. They are people that like cool lighting for their bedrooms, man caves, living rooms, children's rooms and more.

Our sales are to Australian customers and also international customers. We have had orders from United States, Canada, Poland, Philippines and more. The new owner could also focus on growing the business in these countries and others.

The sale of Ultimate Lamps includes the domain, all social media accounts (Facebook with 1.8k followers, Instagram), a Mailchimp account with our customers details and all customer information.

New up sell ideas and marketing initiatives can also be supplied.

We have 2 quality suppliers that can ship your orders direct from their factory in china so the new owner can grow this business without having to hold stock.

Business Model

Ultimate Lamps generates 100% of its revenue through ecommerce product sales. While the business takes orders, the orders are then processed and the lamps are shipped direct to the customer from the supplier.

This is a dropship business model. Most lamps are sold for around $54.95 AUD + $9.95 AUD shipping. People outside Australia have been paying $25 Aud for shipping. The cost of the lamps with DHL shipping direct to the customer is $35USD. This means the customer receives the lamp within 7-10 days.

Many customers buy 2,3 or more lamps and this is where greater profit margins are made.

All customers pay us through paypal or through Stripe and then we place the order with the supplier. We have 2 main suppliers, and we have direct access to them on skype.

Currently, the owners spend approximately 1 hour per week operating the business. This time primarily consists of checking up on the virtual assistant to make sure all is good, checking the inquiries and looking at new designs.

The business has been systematized and outsourced to a Virtual assistant that spends 3 hours a week fulfilling orders and returning inquiries. We have gained the number 1 spot in Google and other search engines and this is where the traffic and sales comes from as well as from Ebay, Facebook and Instagram.

The Virtual Assistent will also from time to time upload new product designs. A new owner could easily outsource all of these tasks just like we have.

Growth Opportunities

Some of the greatest growth opportunities would be to sell additional acrylic pieces to existing customers. Also to continually grow Facebook and Instagram while introducing Twitter and Pinterest.

Another growth opportunity is to grow the Ebay account through marketing it as well as possibly stock other websites and store.

We can also include the contact details for pop.com.au so the new owner can negotiate a new promotion for the lamps.

Another huge area for growth is to start providing custom designs. People can submit logos, photos etc and our supplier can create custom lamps based on that.

Financials

We have used paid traffic and SEO to send customers to our ecommerce shop. Every time a lamp sells we make a profit, so far it has generated varying amounts of profit however with more paid traffic you will see growth in the sales.

Purchase Options

We would like to sell the business as a whole, and are happy to provide up to 2 weeks of training to the new owner.

We can also provide insights into how we taught the Virtual assistant, and the potential growth opportunities for the business.

This opportunity should not to be missed .

Website

Our website is a Premium WordPress design by high end designer.

Our website is built using WordPress and woocommerce and is optimised to load fast and be secure.

Our hosting is with Siteground and we do recommend them.

Automated

We have 2 suppliers with links to each of their products as well as contact details for skype.  All links will be provided to the purchaser so operating this business is easy.

This is not an Affiliate site. It is a dropshipping site using a dropshipping format which produces a Net Profit per sale.

Products in each category are proven high volume sellers with thousands of orders visible from the wholesaler.

Traffic

We have attached all months paid traffic from Facebook and Google Adwords. We also have our Google Analytics data.

You can see our organic Google rankings by search 3d led lamp into Google.

You can also see our Facebook pages and the engagement we get from people.

Happy bidding and if you have any questions, please comment below as I will be happy to help.

@TimCinel Thanks for the comment. All financials and Revenue are in USD in the financials section. However when I log into the website on the video, that is in AUD as that is what I use in the backend of the website.

@TimCinel @lone1976

Thanks for the interest, I know you may be a serious buyer, but I'm sorry I can’t make my reserve prices available, in order to be fair to other bidders. Please bid what you think the site is worth. (no inventory to manage, it's very easy to scale and make back your investment).

@PaulKidis The monthly costs are ~60% of total revenue which is very high. Can you elaborate on what these costs represent please and have you made any efforts to reduce same?

@homestay @homestay Hey the costs are mostly made up of the cost of the goods and shipping to the customer.

Some months where the costs have been slightly higher is because we have done some advertising on Google or Facebook. The months where it is slightly lower is because there has been no paid advertising.

We rank organically for many terms, for example if you type in "Soccer Lamp" or "3d led lamp" we are in the top results. This was a result of some of the SEO efforts we done in the beginning when we launched the site.

I like the business, just curious why you are selling the business if it only takes up an hour a week?

How hard is it for someone in the United States to own a .com.aus website? From the way I take it it is not easy

@aliv2 Hey
Pretty simple reason for the sale. Need the money for another business.

Other then that it is a good little business with fairly passive income.

@kdock Hey, we have the .com as well which you could use, simply set up a .com.au redirect. Happy to help the successful bidder with all the transfer over if they choose to use the .com

Much bigger market in the US as well.

@PaulKidis I am sure you keep detailed P/L somewhere. Where it shows all income and expenses break down? I know you have mentioned the cost above includes everything. I don't see it unfortunately. Could you please show us all your expense breakdown against your income?

do you have contact with some other lamp supplier ? I think it would be nice to increase portfolio with other lamps also, not only 3d

Tue, 17 Jan 2017 12:08:41 AEDT

@arbrkic Hey yes, you can add more suppliers.
I actually have another supplier in mind that does similar but also very cool lamps.

You could also add other LED products to the site.
Sell to the existing customers and promote through the existing mailchimp, facebook, instagram etc.
