Ready to cash in on the US regulated online poker goldrush? Portfolio of 300+ keyword poker domains perfect for affiliates, poker rooms & more.
In the last two years, three US states (Nevada, New Jersey & Delaware) have finally licensed online poker.
And 2015 is likely to be the year that online poker starts to build serious momentum in the US - especially if bigger states, like California, announce plans to follow suit.
An entire online poker ecosystem - from affiliates to marketing agencies to new poker rooms - will need domain names.
And they won't want to settle for unproven new TLDs (like dot poker) - they'll be buying existing aftermarket domains, like these.
Hasn't Licensed US Poker Flopped?
No. It's early days, and the "softly, softly" government regulation means the US is gradually opening up for poker business - like anything involving government regulation.
But when it takes off, it will be huge. Experts predict the California online poker market will be worth $400m per year, if they license.
C'Mon, I Don't Believe You...
The world's biggest online poker brands - 888, PartyPoker, PokerStars, Full Tilt - are falling over themselves to partner with US casino groups to get licensed in the US.
For example, 888 has signed a deal with Caesars to launch in New Jersey.
If you want to do your own due diligence, all the above brands are public listed companies (Listed as 888 & BWIN on the London Stock Exchange, and Amaya in Toronto respectively).
That means their reports to shareholders give hard numbers on exactly how big they expect the US poker market to be over the next few years. And they are not bluffing.
What's the US Online Poker Industry Worth?
According to BwinParty:
"H2GC estimates that the US online poker market... [will be] reaching €2.2bn by 2018"
Won't Affiliates Be Locked Out of US Poker?
So Why Are You Selling?
I have my hands full with two successful sites in other sectors, and I simply will not have time in the coming years to develop/sell these domains individually.
So I'm looking to auction my remaining poker domains in one go.
What Are the Domains Worth?
In recent years, I've sold a number of domains from this portfolio in the $XXXX range, to everybody from poker affiliates to the world's largest slot machine manufacturer.
If you bid on this auction, you'll be buying wholesale. One big "end user" sale in a couple of years could quite conceivably cover the cost of the whole portfolio today.
Perhaps more likely, you'd be in a position to sell X domains per year at more competitive prices.
How Often Do You Sell Domains from the Portfolio?
It depends. In February/March, I've already sold two co.uk domains from this portfolio (not included in the auction, obviously), each in the $XXXX range.
Do The Domains Get Traffic?
A dozen or so the domains get a very small amount of traffic each month (<100 visits/mo).
What Registrar Are They With?
The .COM domains are with Uniregistry, and the co.uk domains are with Heart Internet.
The winning bidder will get them pushed to those registrars (ie, some are locked at Uniregistry for 60 days days as they were recently moved there from Moniker).
.COM plus .NET and/or .ORG
