    What percentage of the tshirts are designed (and owned by you) by t-shirt shub versus designs made by other companies?
    What percentage of your yearly sales are made in November and December?

    We own 21 designs, the rest are bought from our network of vendors. For the designs we own we hire a printer, it is not done in-house. They have the screens already made and they would remain available to the new owner. Our business model has shifted towards buying/reselling top-selling designs from other websites, this allows us to buy shirts we know are going to sell, and also allows us to keep a smaller inventory.
    This website is a part-time business for 1-person (10 hours/week). Occasionally I will bring in part-time help when order volumes are high. We have been researching outsourced order-fulfillment and have identified the best provider for the t-shirt business (I will gladly refer the buyer to this company). This outsourcing parter would provide inventory management, customer-service, and order fulfillment. A buyer may want to consider this option as it would eliminate those aspects of this business and allow them to focus 100% of their time on marketing & sales. At that point this business could be easily run part-time by 1 person while allowing for an aggressive growth plan (a.k.a., add more t-shirt designs). If we don't sell this site in 30 days, this is what we are going to do.
    Our Gross Profit ranges from 55-70% depending on the design (buy for $6, sell for $20), Holiday sales can represent 25-40% of annual revenue.
    Best,
    Mike

    What percent of that is profit?

    I will be willing to do 6x average monthly profit.

    * FROM SELLER*
    BillH,
    Since we redesigned our site 6 months ago traffic/sales have increased. $1,400/mo is based off last 12 months. I have uploaded a new screenshot for everyones review for the past 6 months revenue. This more accurately reflects the value of the company since this redesign.
    * 6 Months Revenue = $13,000

    * Pro-Rated Per Month = $2,165

    * Avg 60% GP = $1,300

    * Avg 40% Net = $866

    * 12 Months Net based on post-redesign figures = $10,392

    * No debt, all inventory is paid for

    * Also included in this sale is about $4,000 worth of inventory.
    This is still considered low for a company that carries product, but this is not a full-time business for me. Additionally, I've started a new business and have basically 'neglected' this site for the past 4 months. The true potential for this site has yet to be tapped. We just invested $3,000 to redesign the site and add the blog (The HubClub). This site has a very unique & marketable look to it. Combined with strong search engine rankings, and it's age (Est. 2004) it's obvious the future potential is there. Buying this business based off current performance is a great investment. Current bid is $10k.
    Best,
    Mike

    how much do you spend on advertising from google and yahoo per month? Cause you cant be getting that much search engine traffic, you only have a little bit inbound links and you dont rank for many keywords. Please state how much you pay on advertising per month.

    Webmarketing2599: We spend less than $10/month on all PPC advertising. 99% of our traffic is organic. We rank very well for some keywords (#3 for Graphic Tees) and we also get alot of longtail traffic for specific products.

    New Screenshot Submitted - See right hand margin of auction listing:
    Sedo Domain Name Appraisal for www.tshirthub.com - dated 4/17/08.
    Valued at $2,200.
    Note that also included in this sale are two other very similar domain names to cover the spelling variations: www.t-shirthub.com, www.teeshirthub.com. Total package probably comes in around $5,000 just for the domain names alone.

    There is a phone number listed on the site. Who takes those calls? How many phone placed orders do you get and how many calls?
    I'm Australian so I guess a business such as this would be too difficult to transfer. What do you think?

    drfuzzy:
    The phone number is a virtual line that goes directly to my cellphone. Most calls are customer service related (order-inquiries, questions, etc.). We get very little phone orders. There are fulfillment houses that can take on customer-service for a small fee if you wish.
    The business is very easy to transfer internationally. Most of the business is tranferred electronically (hosting, domain names, etc.). There would be one shipment of inventory and a couple data-discs containing artwork, spreadsheets, etc.. It's actually very easy to transfer the business.

    How much inventory comes with the business? I gather this is included in the auction price? Can you elaborate on this?
    Is there any dropshipping alternative for those of us who are non-US? I gather the postage for us sending these internationally would be the killer.
    Can you provide a breakdown of where your customers mostly come from?
    Thanks

    Michael.

    drfuzzy,
    90% of our customers are from the United States. If you're looking for a domestic fulfillment company, there are plenty to choose from. Sureshiponline.com is one of the best for t-shirts. I've only got about 450 pcs of inventory left which could be shipped directly to them, and they could fill all the orders as they stream in from the website. Yes - all inventory is included in the auction price.

    schrismer,
    I'll send you a PM. For the rest of you - the phone-number can be included if you want. It's a virtual phone-line so you would simply change the forwarding number to your office number and then switch all the billing/contact information over to your own.
