Why are we selling?

With both founders having other full-time commitments, we're looking for a new owner who wants to take the site to the next level.

Do I need programming or marketing experience to operate this website?

Operating this website requires no programming or marketing knowledge at all. Blog posts and events can be published through WordPress, which is pretty straightforward and doesn't require coding skills. The current editor may be interested in staying on board and potentially expanding his commitment if the new owner is interested. Jobs are being published by customers through Jobamatic.

Other than that, the service is fully automated, with syndication of all blog posts to Twitter, Facebook, and the RSS feed.

Does the website require any technical maintenance?

The scripts require no technical maintenance at all. It is set to run on auto-pilot, therefore it only requires an editor to publish new content through its WordPress interface. Any changes to the site can be done through WordPress.

How is the sale going to take place?

We accept escrow.com which is secure and is also recommended by Flippa. We will cover all escrow and Flippa fees. Buyer will not pay any fees.

We also added AdSense verification. Note that AdSense is one of several ad networks we use, and we also sell ads and sponsorships directly. As a result, the total revenue for the site is higher than the AdSense portion of it.

Traffic typically tends to drop due to the holidays, with traffic starting to go down towards the end of December and picking up again towards the second week of January.

Our blog posts are a combination of articles written by our editor, guest posts submitted through our site, and articles from our content partners. All of the content we receive is free, we only pay our editor ($450/month) to manage the blog and write an article once in a while.

Hi karismasand, We just uploaded traffic numbers for the last month (December 27, 2012 to January 26, 2013). You can see that the last week in December and the first week of January were slow due to the holidays, but then it picked up again and normalized. The rest of the month is looking good, and the overall month comes close to the average traffic numbers for the last few months. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and thanks for your interest.

There is a significant drop in traffic recently. Has the website been penalized in any way by Google?

davegillis, We're not aware of any penalization by Google. Traffic typically drops around the holidays, with the last week of December and the first week of January being slow. Traffic has picked up again after the holidays and is around where it has been the last few months. I hope that answered your question. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

These adsense sites are penalized frequently, thus the January drop off. Please provide proof and traffic sources at point where traffic picked up until today 2/4 asap!
