A couple years ago, I got the idea for this site when i had some issues with my girlfriend. So I built it out, and it started to grow. It accepts questions for relationship and sex issues that everyone has at one time or another. I spend no time on it, and I get around 50K visitors per month, with 336K pageviews, a 50% bounce rate, and a real nice community with a funny cast of characters that welcome new users and answer their questions.
I've not tried to monetize the site, because it has been a labor of love. There are a few ads which bring in a few hundred bucks per month.
The real potential is the premium services. We have a section on the site where users can ask private questions for $9.99 which was launched a couple weeks ago, and has started to do pretty well. You just link up your paypal account and promote that part of the site and you're in business.
We had plans for other premium services as well, such as:
* Dating profile writing
* Introductions service
* Dump your girlfriend/boyfriend service
Each of those could be marketed at $9.99 or more per pop, which means if done right, you could be making hundreds of dollars per day.
I'm willing to add those services to the code if you purchase the site (for the right buyer).
This is not one of those cookie-cutter sites, that is copied and repurposed just for flippa, this is a genuine site which was started as a hobby and has now grown nicely.
Be sure to ask me any questions you like about traffic, hosting, etc and i'll be glad to answer them for you.
I own a bunch of startups and established businesses, and we are deep, deep tech geeks, so there should be no worry about modifying the code, getting it hosted, and even some maintenance if necessary. After all, we wrote it.
We'll throw in the following with the sale:
* 3 other domains -- askmgf.com, askmybf.com and askmyboyfriend.com
* Twitter account
* Up to 30 days of minor changes/enhancements (major changes will have to be paid for separately)
Additional Revenue Details
We just launched a premium service to ask personal sex advice questions which quite a few people have begun to pay for at $9.99 per question. Hey, we're just as surprised that people would pay for that too, but its happening!
Additional Traffic Details
Google analytics (as of this morning) is saying we're getting 58,000 unique visitors per month. Quantcast is saying 32K, but Google is the more accurate player here, since Quantcast mostly takes a sample. I just wanted to make everything visible for this transaction.
