Seller's Notes

Rank on the 1st page of google for ANY keyword within minutes.

Many of you are familiar with google news approved websites and why they are so powerful but if you've ever tried to get approved for google news then you know how difficult the review process is. Being the owner of a google news approved website allows you to rank for any keyword you want and offers something that very few websites can:

-Guaranteed 1st page rankings
-Guaranteed traffic
-Guaranteed revenue

Any article you publish on this website will immediately be picked up by the google-news bot and added into the news index, when people search for keywords related to your article you will show up under the "News For _keyword_" area on the 1st page of the search results. If you've ever used google, then chances are you've seen news results show up when you've searched. And now with this website, you'll have the ability to include your articles/posts within those news results within a matter of minutes.

It's almost impossible to NOT make money with a google news approved website.

The website runs on wordpress so adding articles/news stories is very easy and of course you'll be able to install and use all of your favorite plugins and themes. The site runs on a shared hostgator account and the domain is registered at godaddy.

Why I'm selling:

I started myona mainly as a side project but I've been far too busy to devote any time to it. I run many sites and I don't see my schedule or workload clearing up anytime soon so I think the best way to move forward would be to simply sell the site to somebody else who can utilize it to it's full potential.

Winning bidder will receive:

  1. The domain name transfered/pushed to their godaddy account.
  2. All of wordpress articles, databases, and rights to the content.
  3. Contacts for 2 writers who have agreed to adsense revenue sharing.

Adsense revenue sharing is completely optional and up to the winning bidder if they want to implement it or not. The advantage is that you can sit back and let the writers write all the content for you in exchange for displaying their adsense code 50% of the time on the articles that they write. Of course the remaining 50% of traffic will be shown your adsense code, this is fully compliant with google's terms of service and very easy to implement in wordpress.

These 2 writers currently write a combined total of 15 articles per day on another unrelated website I own and are both native English speakers, one is from Florida and the other is a college student. Both are on a 50/50 split with me but obviously the winning bidder will need to layout their own agreements with the writers. I have already talked to both of them and both said they would love the opportunity to write for this website on a revenue sharing basis and don't mind if I pass along their contacts to the winning bidder.

And of course, you have the option of bringing in your own writers and your own desired compensation methods or just writing content yourself.

Additional Revenue Details

This website doesn't have any revenue because honestly, I didn't care about generating revenue, I was more interested in the testing and playing around with google news than I was about making money with this website but underestimate it's massive earning potential.

Anyone who understands why google news websites are so powerful and flexible can probably think of many different ways to monetize this website, being able to rank on the first page of google within minutes for any keyword you want guarantees an endless source of free and highly targeted traffic.

When it comes to google news listed websites the most popular and reliable method for traffic monetization has been adsense. The reason being that with adsense you can write REAL news articles while at the same time serving up completely relevant ads that are related to the story. Not to mention that with wordpress + adsense you're easily able to setup revenue sharing agreements between you and other writers so you'll have constant news articles, traffic, and most importantly revenue, and the site can be 100% hands off since your writers will be doing all the work.

Another monetization option is to use press releases, either for your own affiliate links or you can easily charge other webmasters $10 - $30 for each press release they submit, webmasters are willing to pay these fees for guaranteed google news inclusion which will be achievable by simply posting the article/press release on this website. Search around on various webmaster forums (digitalpoint, v7n, etc) and you'll see that these types of services are always in demand.

Additional Traffic Details

100% of the traffic comes from google and is of course 100% free of charge. Any article that you publish on the website will get picked up by google news within a matter of minutes and be eligible to be displayed within the "news results" on the front page of google search results for your related keywords and of course through the google news portal as well as any websites that are syndicating stories from google news.

Note: Traffic for July is low because only 2 articles were posted to the website, in September only 1 article (about Tom Brady's car crash) was posted but that single article has brought in 146 visitors and over 1,000 hits to the website.

Posting 2 or 3 articles to the website daily can easily bring in 10,000+ uniques per month.

A news site that's only ever posted 46 stories? And your Google News sitemap is blank, meaning you've stopped publishing any new content... What's up with that?

The google news sitemap file only shows stories published in the past 48 hours, there has been no news published in the past 48 hours which is why it's blank. It's up to the buyer to decide when and what they want to post news about.

This entire listing should be deleted. The fact that you claim to offer "#1 In Google For Any Keyword In 10 Minutes" is a frivelous, erroneous, misleading and a flat-out lie. I hope Flippa removes this listing and temporarily bans you from this site.

I see your google acceptance letter was from June 16th but I can only count 21 articles prior to June 16th and not all categories had articles dating back to earlier than June 16th.
Therefore, can you give an indication as to what content was on there before you applied? Or, are you saying you applied with about 3 categories and only 21 articles?

Hello - Nice looking site. Does the google news acceptance automatically pass to the new buyer or will the new buyer have to re-apply for acceptance ?

On the basis that the site will almost certainly be delisted due to lack of content, you'd probably end up reapplying..and it wouldn't pass as it stands

It's not misleading at all, no you won't rank in the #1 spot every single time but most of the time you will. As long as you write quality content on non adult subjects then you will get included into the google news index which is displayed above the organic news results. Do a search on google for "retail sales", "tiger woods", or "Iran" and you'll see the google news results showing in the #1 spot above all organic results.

It was more than 21 articles but I don't have an exact count since most of them were outsourced. Some articles were lost because I re-installed wordpress but didn't properly backup everything but it's never been an issue.

Yes the new owner will automatically be accepted into google news because acceptance is based on the domain itself, not the hosting IP, DNS server, or whois information. As long as you don't flood it the site with obvious spam articles or articles containing illegal/hateful content there is no reason why you would get kicked out of google news.

Not every site needs to publish as many articles as the new york times or USA today. There are tons of niche, industry targeted, and small city news sites in google news that don't churn out content 24/7. Some sites even choose to only include a small percent of their articles from certain sections into the news index. The only sites that get kicked out of the news index are the ones who blatantly abuse the privilege with pharmacy/porn spam or post illegal or hateful content.

Thanks, welcome to flippa.....

good work sir, google only accept good article site, i guess u did put nice news there but $1500 is quite to much just for a site that has been accepted in google news :-)

I appreciate your feedback but for a google news approved website the $1,500 price tag is completely fair and actually less than what most google news approved websites have sold for on flippa. Take a look at the previous auctions and you'll see that most of them go for at least $2k and even the ones that are _NOT_ google news approved (seller only "guarantees" that the site will be approved weeks or months later in the future) have sold for $1,000.

$1500 is fair for a good google news site with lots of artciles and a chance of maintaining its status. I believe you are overestimating what you think this site is worth, it won't see at $1500 in my opinion,

I can understand your concern about a website being delisted from google news but your reason as to why a news site would be removed from the index just because it doesn't post tons of articles on a daily basis is incorrect. The google news staff has made it very clear that their focus is on quality, not quantity.
As I've stated earlier there are tons of news sites that are focused on a single industry, in a small town, and even sites that only have a certain sections or authors indexed where only handful of articles are posted throughout the week and some cases, the month.
Contact the google news staff yourself and ask them if there are any minimum post requirements that have to be met on a daily, weekly, monthly, or even yearly basis and they will tell you no.
The websites that end up getting delisted all have one thing in common: they abused the system.
They posted porn, pharmacy, and casino spam, used forced spyware installs or popup chains, and tried to use duplicate content by using one of those stupid wprobot plugins that does nothing but scrapes content from other sources.
As long as the new owner:
a) Uses unique content

b) Uses sensible monetization methods (adsense, adbrite, ypn, banner ads, inline links etc)

c) Doesn't use intrusive monetization methods (forced installs, fake spyware scans, chained popups/popunders)

d) Doesn't post pharmacy/casino/porn spam
Then I can guarantee that they will remain a google news approved website.

Can you post another article ? It seems your last article was on the 9th. Sometimes sites get delisted from google news but still show old articles on google. Please post a new articles so that we know its still in google news. Should not be a problem for you but it will confirm our doubts.

So just to be clear, you 'guarantee' that it won't get delisted.

And if it is you'll refund presumably?

Great looking site. I have a quick, probably obvious question:

Just to clarify, all, or most, of the content on your site is original and generated by two writers that you work with? And they are willing to do this by splitting Adsense ads?

Thanks! It isn't easy to find sites on Flippa with original content. Glad to see you haven't been delisted.

I just posted another article titled "Afghan Citizens Line Up To Vote In Elections"
You can verify this by going to and typing "" (without www) or by copying and pasting the following link into your browser:
Yes, as long as the winning bidder doesn't do any of what I laid out in my previous comment (scraping content, spamming, intrusive ads) and it ends up losing it's google news status I will provide them with a full refund.
Everything up until July was what my freelance writers wrote until I assigned them to work on another project, the 2 writers who are willing to write for this site based on adsense revenue sharing are 2 writers that have a similar agreement with another website I own where they write on a daily basis. I asked them if they would be interested in writing for with a similar adsense revenue splitting agreement and both gave me the go ahead to forward their contact information to the winning bidder.

there are only 2 articles in google news. What happened to the others ?

vze ( | $7.92K )

Google news only shows articles posted in the past 2 weeks, by that time it will had already crawled and index the page and as long as it's not duplicate content it will be in the regular google news index. Use or, or any other major news source and you'll see that they too only display results from at most the past 2 weeks.
