Description

Gigbucks.com is the first true competition to the popular site fiverr.com.  Sale includes access to all site content, files & scripts, domain, 1 month of hosting on the current server, and paypal account associated with the business.  We will also include 14 days of email support for questions on how the site works and functions.  All fees that occur for transferring of domain are responsibility of the buyer.  You have the choice of keeping the site on the current server or moving to your own server but we will not provide assistance in transferring to a new server as it is beyond our scope as webmasters.

We were established in June 2010 and we are growing strong every day.  We connect buyers and sellers all across the world and provide a unique marketplace for affordable services.  Sellers are able to list unlimited products and services at prices that range from $5 to $100 all for free.  When a product or service is sold the site makes a commission.  Our site's sales are mostly from services that are SEO related and web marketing.  Our current client base is 1000 register members. We currently average around 1000 site login sessions per day and have an average time each visitor stays on our site at over 6 minutes.  We have spent countless hours getting this site running and SEO optimized. We as the site owners do not have the background and expertise to make this site run at top speed.  A move to a dedicated server would be ideal to handle the traffic as the current host seems to be sluggish with our workload.  Please make sure to check out the revenue and traffic sections to get very important details on how you can make money with our site and traffic.  Our traffic alone should stand out to the right buyer as we are ranked around 25,000 in the US and 50,000 in the world for a site only been established since June of 2010.

Additional Revenue Details

The site is currently set at making 18% commission on all sales.  This amount can be set at any amount and can be fully customized to the site owner's preferences.  Being open only since June of 2010 our current revenue doesnt reflect the full potential of our site that is why we will leave out revenue and revenue forcasting.  We just recently integrated an ad server to display multiple ads throughout the site.  The ad server has the capability of displaying over 30 (125x125) ads.  These ads can be anything such as banners for affiliate products, paid advertising space, and google adsense ads.  We have the site setup to monetize the heavy amounts of traffic the site has been experiencing.  All ads can be configured and changed through the ad server with a few clicks of the mouse.  To the right owner this site has huge potential.

Additional Traffic Details

We are ranked around 50,000 worldwide on Alexa and around 25,000 in the US.  Our sources of traffic come from organic traffic, twitter, facebook, and word of mouth.  We have a facebook page with over 5000 likes and a twitter page with around 5000 followers.  Both traffic sources havent been fully developed and have lots of room for improvement.  Our organic traffic efforts have paid off greatly and being ranked on the first page of google under the keywords- get a freelancer and freelancing jobs. Both of these keywords have the potential to bring over 20,000 in organic traffic per month.  Our traffic alone to the right buyer can bring in huge potential.

How many people do you have running this site? Also, what is the hosting situation? Do you have your own servers?

I'm not able to see in the description that this is a site built on an off-the-shelf Fiverr clone script by Agriya. I think your prospect should know about this.

We have 2 people presently running the site and a team from agriya working on technical problems. Yes we do have the script from agriya and we have tweaked and upgraded it since our opening. It is not an off the shelf version it is a functional script necessary to operate the sites many functions. We were one of the original script purchasers in which we have spent countless hours refining and upgrading many options to suit the sites needs. Unlike the other competitors we have invested in all marketing outlets to het where we are today in regards to traffic and Seo. We currently run on a shared server and need a move to a dedicated server as described above.

Is your other site JUSTAFIVE.COM included in this sale or are you going to compete against whoever buys gigbucks?

None of those sites are owned by us. Furthermore we won't be opening a competitor site in this market once this site is sold.

That's news to me since I don't use google analytics. The script came from the same provider I will check with them to see if they have that installed on our site. But I assure you we own gigbucks and gigbucks only.

If it is on our site it means it came from our website designer and script maker agriya. We will look into this further as we don't have access to the analytics. We are in the USA not sure where those other sites are based.

Well I suggest getting your OWN google analytics installed ASAP and posting it on flippa. Very few if any sites sell here without google analytics. Proof of revenes would be good too

Yep if you (or someone else) has Analytics installed on the site ask him to verify stats by emailing the reports to Flippa. It will help a LOT with selling your site and getting bidders to trust you.

Well apparently we had the agriya tracking code in there. We have installed google analytics into our site and will make it available when it gathers some data. We do have tracking data from our host for serious bidders.

Also if you would post proof of revenues that would be of great assistance.

Very nice looking website but wondering since it looks like you are not claiming any income and you have so many gigs listed. Are these real users (members) listing all these gigs or user names just created for testing purposes.

You state: We have 2 people presently running the site and a team from agriya working on technical problems.

How many hours per week do your two resources spend on the admin and running the site?

What is the expense to the technical team from agriya that is working on the technical problems and what are the primary problems?

We spend about 3 to 4 hours a week total and we haven't paid anything in addition to the original price paid for repair of minor issues within the script. We are also getting the latest upgraded version of the script installed this week.

so we do not need anything when we buy it it works just right or is there constant work needed on the teck side and how about growing trafic you dont need to do anymore is it growing on its own. in google analytics it seems most trafic is direct and not much of organic trafic

It is turn key any issues the script developers help with issues. The analytics were from just a week. I did not have it active before the report date. We haven't done much seo since the opening of the site the traffic has been self sustainable as is.
