Question: Why isn’t my auction visible on the site?

Answer:

Has your auction gone missing? Here’s how to track it down:

First, log into Flippa and click on the My Account tab at the top of the page. In the right-hand column, under Activity, you will see “Auctions:” followed by the number of auctions you have created on the site. Click this number, and you will be taken to a complete list of your auctions.

Is your auction not in that list? If it’s an auction you just created, this could indicate that you have not fully completed the “Create an Auction” process—possibly because you didn’t complete the final step of of the process after purchasing the necessary Flippa Credits for the auction.

If you start the “Create Auction” process again, you will see a notice: “You have a partially created auction”. Select the option to complete the partial auction, and follow the steps through to the end. At the end of the process, you should be presented with a link to view your new auction.

If your auction is in the list, and you are able to view it, but it is not visible in the auction list on the Buy tab, it may be that your auction doesn’t satisfy the filter that is applied to the auction listing you are viewing.

For example, all of the built-in listing filters require site ownership to be verified before an auction will appear. Perhaps you need to verify ownership of the site you are selling?

If you still can’t figure out why your auction is “missing in action”, contact support for help in tracking it down.
