Sorry to bother you again - I know must be very busy dealing with this auction. I meant to ask you about how often you post content to this site. Have you been adding content on a regular basis in order to attain the #1 ranking, or do you think the ranking has been primarily due to your back linking efforts?

Yes, all backlinks remain in place. Every article keeps its backlinks forever, every social bookmarking, forum profiles, blog commenting, everything stays in place. Thanks for the great question, btw!
Not a problem, that's why I'm here. Also when somebody sends me a pm with a question, I usually reply in the auction comments in public so everybody who might be interested in the same questions can read it.
There is one main difference between static sites and wordpress blogs: you need to constantly update the blogs to keep their rankings in the long term (be it with autoblogs or white hat, boring article writing). By default a blog is designed to be posted to via posts (unless you're using 'pages' as front page, in which case the situation is different).
A regular html site, on the other hand, doesn't need regular updating, at least not as often as a blog.
At first I was adding articles every week, then every 2 weeks, and now I only added 1 or 2 a month simply because I like writing articles. Then I was heavily backlinking to it, as well as to the actual domain and to some articles that I've noticed that started slipping in rankings. That's why Market Samurai is so useful to to me, I can run a ranking check every week and see what goes 'red', and backlink to it. Usually within a week or two it goes right back or even higher at times.
Very interesting thoughts on MS - I'll start using that strategy on my sites if you don't mind! Great idea. It's clear to see why you've had the success with this site that you've had and why it will likely continue to do very well.
