About NexusOneBlog.com:
First off, the premium domain, NexusOneBlog.com was snagged minutes after the first leak/hint of the Google Nexus One. And the site was started that same day. The domain alone is worth a couple hundreds of dollars.
We have been following and reporting for 6 months, quality Nexus One news.
The site is well-established, with an average of 63,477 Unique Visitors and 135,477 Page Views per month according to SquareSpace's internal web stats system. Included as a bonus is NexusOneBlog's twitter account which has 6,217 loyal followers.
The site has a total of 914 real comments.
NexusOneBlog's Authority on the web:
In just a short 15-20 days, NexusOneBlog has already became extremely popular among Nexus One fans and geeks, with little to no marketing done for the site. We are the #1 Nexus One Site on the web. In fact, we have spent less then $100 to advertise for the life of the site, and yet it has achieved such popularity. The traffic all comes from good SEO implementation and mega-tons of organic back-links from top tech sites including:
droiddog.com
dogpile.com
tmonews.com
gsmarena.com
androidcentral.com
lemonde.fr
journaldugeek.com

Growing NexusOneBlog:
As we have mentioned above, we have not done much promotion for the site and are not marketers. We are sure that if done right in terms of advertising the site, it will grow tremendously in the hands of the right person(s).
Maintaining and Hosting:
The site is hosted on SquareSpace.com which is also the blogging platform the site is under. We pay only $20/month for hosting and the software. You can learn more about SquareSpace at www.SquareSpace.com
The site is really easy to maintain, basically all you need to worry about is posting Nexus One related news, that's it. And advertising (If you want), reading emails, etc of course.
Why we are selling the site:
The current owner is an Apple fanboy, and he would like to start an Apple related website instead.
What the new owner(s) get:
- The premium domain and the entire site, NexusOneBlog.com
- The twitter account, @NexusOneBlog
Revenue Details
Google Adsense:
The site has generated a total of $965.72 starting from 12/22/09 to 5/12/10
Direct advertising (banner):
Even though we could have sold more banner spots, a single banner like the clear-coat advertising on the site is sold for $95/month.
Twitter:
With 6,217 loyal followers on twitter, we could have sold paid tweets. which we did not.
Drop Shipping Nexus One accessories:
We opened a Nexus One accessories store doing drop-shipping on January 22nd of 2010. As of now, it has made a total of $5,296.96. We didn't really promote the store on the site except the top banner. The number of sales could sky rocket with proper advertising. The store is not included in this auction.
Note: http://www.nexusoneblogaccessories.com/servlet/StoreFront
That is the store. As you can see, it's poorly designed, low selection of items, does not accept credit cards, no TOS or Return policy, so it may seem un-professional or un-trustworty, therefore the 90 sales the store generated so far could have been much, much higher.
We just got 2 more sales today.

Hi, What happend whit this site when Nexus two will come?
Google will be expanding its Nexus One to physical stores all across America soon, which will let buyers experience the phone before the purchase. They announced that the 'online store' wasn't doing too well and reverting to the traditional way of selling a phone will sure explode Nexus One sales.
