This is a meneame.net mod established four years ago for sharing and promoting videos and videoblogs (like videosift).

All content is submitted by the users. This is no not an "autoblog" or similar site.

The buyer will get:

• the domain ( mootion.com ) 4+ years old.
• the source code for the application
• and the database with all the videos, users, descriptions and comments.

Revenue Details

All revenue is made with adsense.

The average revenue for the last 12 months is 5 euro/month.

 

Traffic Details

For the last 12 months between I've got between 250-230 unique visitors a day according to analytics.

The site needs some SEO work because visitor numbers are declining.

   your normal content seems to have problems (wordpress elements broken) and google seems to think your home page is a PDF. Any idea why?

   Hi rishil,

   the hosting provider moved this site to another server about one week ago and some
   things went wrong (they failed to allow the mootion.com blog to use their database). Also, the site was hacked during the transition and it redirected to some PDF file when googleblot seached the site.

   It's all fixed now and it should be on the Google serps in 1-2 days.

   couple of questions. is this using hte latest WP? the older versions are vulnerable to attack. is the plugin that runs this unique? (the video submit and 'm00v')?

   Hi dragons5, I've tried to update the site description to answer your question but I can't, so here it Is.

   What is on sale is:

   - the domain: mootion.com (4+ years old. Expires Feb 2011).
   - the main site: mootion.com
   - the main site software: a modified meneame.net script to grab videos submitted by users. The modifications are unique: there's no wp/drupal/etc. plugin that can do this off the shelf.
   - the main site database: with all the content (more that 1000 videos) and user accounts.

   PLUS:

   - the blog site: blog.mootion.com (an old wordpress 2.5 installation) with its current installed software.
   - and of course the blog site content.

   To use this you'll need:

   - Apache hosting.
   - PHP5.
   - MySQL5.
   - An adsense account for the ads.
   - Crontab access: to "promote" the videos to the front page
   - And a twitter account to announce when a video goes to the front page.

   Regading your question:

   - Yes, the wordpress is an old one and I guess it may be vulnerable to some attacks. I haven't upgraded because I have no time to test the upgrade. This is a task left for the buyer.
