Description

Up for grabs is a simple WP site that has been around for a few years.  I purchased www.malepubicshaving.net a little over a year ago and spent a total of about 1 hour on the site since.  Basically I just swapped out affilite links and added in a few things.  The niche was easy to crack into and after spending a day on SEO for the site I have never looked back at it.

The pubic shaving niche is not for everyone but it's exactly definition of a sub niche.  The site averages a good 100 bucks a month.

The only affiliate I am using on the site is Amazon.  There are other places that pay out a little more but like I said I just never looked to much into it.

View the images for details on traffic.  Only bidders who meet the 1200 buck reserve will be able to gain access to the keywords list.  However a few simple Google searches and I am sure you will be able to found out the keywords the site ranks for.

Reason for the sale:

Quite frankly I do not spend time on sites that I do not expect a 1K return on each and every month.  I purchased the site because I knew I could just hold onto it for a year and flip it for the same amount I purchased it for and make a few grand from it.  So that is what I am doing.

As stated the reserve is going to be $1,200.00. This is a great purchase for those who do not have many websites adn could use an extra 100 bucks a month.  I won't bother talking about potential future profits because that all depends on the person who buys the site.

Look at the pictures.  Averaging a little over or under 100 bucks.

Wow, if I buy this site, I can show people what I mean when I say I "make money on the internet"... I think they'll get the picture a lot easier now, without all that awkward "explaining"...

All jokes aside, you're right that is that feeling having a site about male pubic shaving being a little "off" but 100 bux a month is a 100 bux a month.

Does http://www.malepubichairshaving.net/ belong to you? The header looks similar as well as the rest of the site concept.

No that site does not belong to me. Looks like the site was started after mine. Yes he did model the site close to mine. However he is using a newer Studio press theme that looks to be customized in a very similar nature to the one I have.

The "All jokes aside" could not be more true. I really do not want to write articles to promote pubic shaving. However as stated I have just held onto it for a year after purchasing and the 100 bucks or so just keeps coming in. If your a smaller time internet marketer it's a good site to go with. This is a very nice example of sub niche.

also many many, people do pubic shaving or at least trimming. It's only natural for people to want to purchase these kinds of products online

the youtube account is from the original owner. He passed on user Id's and the like but I do not even thing I have them any more. The website does own the rights to all content and the videos are not going anywere.

In short. The listing is for the website and domain name. I can not promise anything else besides that. I'll try to get the user name and password for the Youtube stuff but I may not have the info anymore.

I'm pretty serious about purchasing. I have a some products in mind for the site.

I need to know where traffic is coming from and keywords.

All traffic is organic and mostly from Google. The keywords used to find the site are for the most part obvious. The actual analytics data with the keywords is on hand. However it will only be provided to those who make an offer. This is for the benefit of the new buyer. I know plenty of people simply use Flippa to gain ideas for sites and want to protect the new buyer as much as possible.

Once an offer is made I will PM any stats the requested buyer wants.

I notice on compete.com that your traffic has been pretty low in 2010. Can I get an updated analytics chart?

Traffic is the same as it has always been. No drop what so ever. Using third party verification sites are never that accurate. They are nice to use as a reference but should never be trusted as being accurate.

My only worry is the bounce rate. Is the traffic not highly targeted? Bid placed :) Lemme know if you want to close early.

I could not begin to tell you the customers BR average for this industry. You will see in the stats you now have access to that the target is very targeted.

Braydond: Remind me later to send you a PM about a different affiliate offering 20% a sale instead of the 6% or so I get on Amazon. I can not seem to recall or find the affiliate site but will do some digging to locate it.

Traffic stats were already posted. For sales stats I have already included 3 Quarters and January. But I will go ahead and post the mid month sales once the sales for the 15th have been finalized. So expect this in about 3 -4 days.

As requested I have upload the Mid Feb report for sales so far. Please note the site is right on track as usual for the average sales. You will see $42 earnings so far this month. This is on shipped items only. there are 4 more sales but those only show after they ship. Also once the account get's another 6 sales ( MY guess is one to two days) the 6% earnings bump to 6.5% for most of the sales already made. This is how Amazon works and 100% normal.

The auction has a few more days so ask your questions now.

This is a great example of how to target a small niche using a mini site. I'm currently bidding on another site and need to watch how much I am spending, so I have decided not to bid (though I was very tempted as it needs very little maintenance). Though best of luck to everyone else. Decent price for a site which has proven to bring in money.
