Description

I have owned unbrickpsps.com for over a year and I have put a lot of work into improving it. It had almost no organic traffic back when i purchased it and now it is ranking very well for some competitive keywords, and the rank is improving all the time.

It used to rely on adwords, which I no longer had the time or desire to play around with, so I dropped the campaign and concentrated on link building and intensive seo instead. It has certainly paid off and the site has brought me in $2760 pure proffit in the last 6 months.

Site has earnt $2760 profit in the last 6 months purely from organic traffic, plus a small amount of referral, returning cutomers and word of mouth. No advertising or adwords what so ever!

The site is getting atleast 100 Organic visitors a day often more.

This is due to the work I put into the site since I have had it, this is what i have done:

  • Completed intensive onsite and offsite SEO work
  • Submitted site social networking sites
  • Posted on numerous PSP related sites, with signature back links
  • link directory submissions
  • Built back links via hurndreds of article submissions
  • Posted articles on PR related Blogs
  • Tutorials written especially for the site
  • New pages and products added
  • Found alternative supplier that is much more reliable and a lot faster delivery speeds.

Why am I selling the website?

I have started a full time job, and nolonger have the time to put into my websites, so I am selling them all off. Customer service is very important with this website, and I don't want that to go down hill, due to me working long hours outside of the home.

I have many ideas on how to further improve this site and get it ranking even better, and I am more than happy to share these with the winning bidder.

The winning bidder:

I will only accept escrow for this website.

Domain name is with godaddy and doesnt expire till 27th November 2014!

This website is very easy to run and perfect for a beginner or webmaster. It only requires about half hour a day to place orders and reply to customer emails, I can teach you how to run the site and make more profit.

Can you tell me exactly what happened to the adwords system?

I see from the previous auction on flippa that all the revenue was adwords generated... Did competition in crease? Was it not breaking even anymore?

How has the site preformed based on the original projections from the original seller?

    Website is back up now.

diego the adwords system was still earning more than I am earning now, as you would beable to see on the last auction, but then competition did increase. That was when i decided to put all my efforts into getting the site ranking better organically and my goal was to get it earning a decent amount without the risk of adwords at all. I never liked adwords, but for a buyer that has more knowledge in that area, I am sure you could use it to complement the organic traffic.

Being very busy I liked the ease of not needing to worry about the advertising costs and changing keyword bids around, I had many other sites on the go aswell, and several that I wanted to put more time into.

It is also worth noting that the prices I have on the site have not been updated for some time, and need to raised a little, that will further increase profits and bring the site inline with competition.

Does your supplier dropship or do you handle shipping? If you do ship, is that figured into your profit totals?

    Thanks!!

Supplier handles all shipping and its so easy, my supplier now allows bulk orders via a csv file upload and if you did want to buy wholesale and ship it out yourself, you can do that too and get even higher discount on the products.

The cost of goods is factored into profits, and i have written it for each month as "cost of goods", that is all that i had to pay the dropshipper and includes registered shipping with tracking number. This covers you incase of disputes or the items are lost in the post.

What would it take to bulk purchase a couple months worth of inventory? And what would it save you?

The site idea is solid but I'm wondering what it would take to avoid having to ship from China and what would be the cost saving advantage?

diego79 it is not hard at all to bulk purchase, it is as simple as placing an order with the supplier, discount varies, the more you order the most discount you get. Save from 2% upwards.

Have the search rankings dropped recently? I see that you used to rank #7 for "battery psp" but now you are 58?

srini28 the search engine rankings may have dropped for "battery psp" I am not sure, but i never did any link building at all for that particular keyword so it is not suprising. I concentrated on other keywords such as pandora battery and magic memory stick. As you will see the rankings have been growing well, decembers profits were very high!

I have lowered the reserve significantly for this site, I really don't want to sell for less than it is worth but i am working way to much to run the site anymore, and absolutely have to sell! Lucky buyer will get an absolute steal :)

I will post Feb sales as soon as possible. I havnt as yet had a newsletter subscription, this is a very good idea, but i do indeed have a list of emails from all previous customers. The site is all in html, using paypal already. I am not sure of a Payments Pro System.

What are all the black strike-outs in the paypal screenshots? Is that returns or paypal chargebacks from customers or just withdrawals? How many products total do you have?
