Description
I built this site several years ago when we moved to Innsbruck, Austria. We had an expensive apartment and wanted to find a cheaper one, but they all seemed to get snapped up quickly. This site emails users as soon as new apartments become available.
Now that we've moved on, it's time to give this site to someone who is more interested in the area. I think there's a lot of potential for it for someone who speaks/writes German and wants to work on it some, perhaps by working with local real estate agencies. There are also enough statistics at this point that they're quite interesting if you want to do charts or add features showing people whether an apartment is above or below the average.
If you've never been, Innsbruck is a beautiful town in the middle of the Tirolean Alps, with tons of outdoor activities. It's famous for its winter sports, having hosted the winter Olympics twice, and having zillions of kilometers of ski runs in the area. It also has great hiking and mountain biking in the summer. We really enjoyed our time there, and think it's a great place to live, both for young people as well as families.
More information about the site is available on request.
Revenue Details
The site has adsense, but the revenue I get for it is negligible.
Traffic Details
The site actually gets a fair amount of traffic even if I've never advertised it. Like I said, I built it for myself and made it public.

What language is the website coded in?
I am assuming it uses a database, if so what kind of database?
Thanks
The site is done with Ruby on Rails, and uses a Postgres database.
excellent, thanks for the quick response, if I was to offer to buy the website today and save waiting for the auction to finish, what would you say was a reasonable price?
I've had a few other inquiries about that, but part of the reason I didn't put a buy-it-now price is because I honestly don't know, so I'm happy to take whatever I get out of the auction.
fair enough
After you've paid for it, you can put real estate listings for Mars and Venus for all I care :-) So yeah, if you think you can sell it for more, go ahead and place a bid.
Question: why don't you charge to look at your listings like a membership fee?
@okJimmyB - I'm not sure people would pay to look at them, but that's certainly something that whoever buys it can explore.
